I hope I am wrong because I think our best chance is to go for it with Tevez starting and the experience of Hargreaves in central midfield.
i think that will be choices for the second half..
fergie will want to see the game plan of the renties first, imno.

Ronaldo and Evra on one wing is quite light defensively. I wouldn't like to see it vs. Essien and Cole.

On a good day we'd win the game on that flank, on a bad day we'd lose the game on that flank.

Evra is a better defender then Wes, Ronaldo will weaken defensively whatever flanks he plays, we can't be shoving him upfront for that reason however

I dont think thats necessarily the case, the main problem full backs have is their opposite full back overlapping and exchanging places to make them lose their man. Ronaldo is going to be the focus of the defense and the full back on his side is going to be pressed back and not able to go forward at all. Chelsea will be scared of the counter attack.

That's sometimes true, we faced the same with Messi and Evra was, rightly, still charging forward, a brave team takes advantage of lazy defending from wingers

Evra may be a better defender than Wes, but unless he's nailed to the floor - he'll make runs down the flank and if Ronaldo and Evra lose the ball between us them, we could easily get punished.

Brown has done sweet fuck all in terms of getting forward for the past few months when playing right back. For once it would pay off.

We have to play our way and put them under pressure. Two strikers put pressure to their defence and that's when you get the best of Ronaldo. If you play 3 upfront then they put Ashley and a defensive midfielder covering Ronaldo and we end losing all our creation.
Even a 4-4-2 gives Cole a field day with Ronaldo. On top of ensuring we totally lose the midfield control battle. The two times we've beaten them at OT we have played 4-3-3/4-5-1. 4-4-3 is the only formation that can allows us to play Ronaldo, on the left, far away from Ashley Cole. On the one flank he would be able to do the most damage to Chelsea

Fergie was right again. The addition of Hargo was fundamental to win the champions league.

There you go lads. Fantastic work and the experience were fundamental.

Also Hargreaves can play some of his lovely low crosses which hopefully Tevez, Rooney or Ronaldo can pounce on.
Nearly spot on Whenever Ronaldo attacked Essien he was normally always on top
