Seeing this signing makes me think Kagawa might be played in centre mid this season. I don't see where else he's going to fit into the team as surely we won't drop Rooney, and RVP won't be on the bench.

Would rather we had signed 1-2 CMs before even looking at a striker. Berbatov hasn't even left yet. What are we gonna start playing 4-1-5 now?
Dunno, just seems a decidedly odd transfer. Good player obviously, but not what we needed and question marks on fitness. He will expect to play every game, as will rooney, meaning Welbeck and Hernandez feeding off scraps, not to mention Kagawa. The only way I can justify this is if we were going to see a surprise departure of Rooney or Hernandez |

I do hope that that is conditional on appearances to some degree, we don't want a repeat of the Hargreaves transfer as far as injuries go which is a risk here.
Where does that leave Welbeck and Hernandez? They have earned some sort of standing at the club. The wages should be interesting. |

I still don't know what I think of this transfer.

As expected.
Don't know how to react really. Obviously we've got ourselves a world class player, but I'd lie if I said I wasn't very excited about the prospect of our current attack. Still, he'll be able to add some more bite to our attack. Welcome Robin. |
