Then lets loan them to Sporting and other Portugese clubs. Or to Holland even. Where they can master ball usage. Strength can always be built in the gym. Because IMO the championship is no good. Look at Gibson. Me thinks Wolves has ruined him.

Would they regular playing time at Sporting though? I'm not too sure.

I'm certain last season Gibson would have got games. Same as Eagles the year before. A Possebon should be able to get games for such a side too..

Possebon would, I don't think the others would.

Fair enough. I'm convinced otherwise

I'll rather see Possebon given a chance than us signing Veloso. The thing is do we really need Veloso? We already have Fletch here and he rarely disappoints these days.

Gibson couldn't get a game for Wolves at the end, so I don't see how he would have go into the Sporting midfield!

Thought Gibson had lots of injuries there and then lost the pecking order. Don't see any players starting there with the likes of Moutinho Veloso and many other good players. Might be loaned to Sunderland though ?

We will always have room for a talent line Veloso. Because they are very few hardmen who are playmakers like him. & we might need 2 men to cover for the loss of Scholes from our squad in the near future. As cover for Anderson

He would always have a better chance of playing in a genuine footballing side than a typical championship style Wolves team. Which would have helped his development much more.

How so? Beckham played for Preston North End in 1994 and it didn't hamper his development.

I think the lad is pretty good just young. This means that we dont have to look for a midfield out of the club. He can get promoted to the first team when Scholes plans to retire.

looks a good young player. I'd agree about the bulk up talk being nonsense - unless people think fletchers the incredible hulk? If you got ability, you've a chance

Fletcher is better than the incredible hulk.

Beckham was never a Gibson type of player. Physical, long ball football was never ever going to harm his development. After all he is the long ball king.
