Remember the name,i think next season he will definitely make the breakthrough, what a classy player he is,the touch and passing are simply sublime to say the least...

He looks a very classy player from what i have seen reminds me of Carrick but with pace. Unfortunately he plays in the position where our squad is the strongest. May get some minutes in the Carling Cup though.

He'll be lucky to even get ONE game unless 2-3 out of Anderson, Carrick, Hargreaves, Fletcher and Scholes are out injured.

If he's lucky, he'll might get some opportunities to play in the Carling Cup. With a 7-man bench, he can might come in if we have a big lead in the second half, just to gain some experience on the top level.

From what I've seen from him, he looks very classy on the ball. Needs to bulk up a bit though.

It's hardly making a breakthrough playing in the Mickey Mouse cup.

Look at all the shite players having played for us in the competition over the last decade or so.

Aye when ive seen him he's looked good. Hard to get a propper picture built up when its only at reserve level though.

A loan move next season or the odd game here and there for the first team will do him good.

The player he most reminds me of, dare I say it, is Alonso at the dippers but when he was good.

Very similar playing styles.

true, but its something. he's only 19 still i believe. then again we don't see him every training session, and fergie will give the lad a chance if he's up for it. maybe a loan deal to a lower prem side is in the works as well.

NO. He hasn't even started a single first team game yet but you expect him to have enough class to get in the side ahead of scholes (legend), carrick (has been vital in the last two years), fletch (fergie's love child and performs in big matches), hargreaves (fergie spent £18 mill rising to £20 mill on him so he'll play him alot more next season) and anderson (who has a large price tag on him and has been amazing no matter who's put in front of him)......not to mention giggs will play a more central role next season.

So unless he's at the standard of all the players mentioned already without a single first team start, I doubt fergie will risk him when the stakes are so high and the pressure is on to win every match.

He will? Quite a few ahead of him in the queue, as you mention.

He won't.

Same role as this season, just with fewer appearances, probably.

Yep but my point is giggs will take priority over possenbon. I'm not saying that giggs will play much there but to accomodate for his lack of pace fergie will play him either there or just off a striker. He'll be coming on as a sub much more.

lol i went off track but my point was that even if he does hav alot of quality it'll be hard for him to break through with that many players ahead of him.

He can't come one as a sub on the wing? Has done lately, in some very big matches.

He hasn't played any first team games, subs or otherwise. Are you thinking of Nani or Anderson there ?

He can but we're expected to add ramsey (who if he stays will prbab feature on the wing because he can play there) and valencia is also a target. if we get both I think fergie will bring giggs on as a sub to play in the centre.

The topic had momentarily shifted to Ryan Giggs, and Devil_forever's assertion that he would be playing centrally next season.
