I agree. Just caught a glimpse of an interview he gave to Sky Sports News at the football writers awards tonight. From what I saw he was talking about Spain and giving the 'in the future you never know' line, although he did say forcefully he wants to stay.

The fact remains that Ronaldo is still leaving it open, he does not make comments about the club like players such as Rooney do. He comes out with that it is a dream to play in spain stuff when he could just avoid that. So people who discuss it are not muppets as it is coming from him.
However, it is likely he is just looking for a better contract or something like that. |

United give Ronaldo fantastic money, a great team, the platform to improve and win things, a stable set up... everything he could ask for. If at some point in the future he decides it is not enough, we'll get as much as we can for him and move on.
Just enjoy him while he's here and don't worry about the future cos at some point he probably will want to go to Madrid, regardless of the situation at United. I don't think that time will come soon. |

![]() There is no condoling what Ronaldo keeps doing, always saying that his heart lies elsewhere(or words to that effect), does he really need to keep coming out and saying it every 2 weeks, its starting to annoy me now. The only player that would soften the blow of losing ronaldo is messi. |

He can have my sister as well.
But then we want him to stay, don't we? Too bad Keiran Richardson is gone... |

This story is complete garbage. He can consider his future all he wants, but he's got three years to run on his current contract. So he's not going anywhere next season. There is no pressure on us to sell him. If he doesn't want to sign a new contract, that will be up to him I guess, and he will have to make that decision probably at the end of next year. I think he likes it here though. He is really playing at the top of his game, and he's said a bunch of times that he is at the right club. We also have a team assembled here that is capable of winning multiple champion's league trophies. I think he'll sign one more long contract with us, and then be off when he's around 28 or so.
