Ronny wins Skysports "Goal of the Season"

Yet another trophy for him.

That freekick (was it) against Portsmouth.

I think Nanis goal against Boro is far better than the Ronaldo FK

no way, that free kick was out of this world. I had never seen anything like it up until that point. That ball had more dip than a homeless scouser on speed

No way, a FK is much harder to score than a shot like that, first of all you have a wall in the way, second of all the GK expects you to shoot.

Weird choice IMO.

I'd pick one of our team goals, like Rooney's against Villa or Tevez against Wigan, or if picking a strike I remember a fantastic goal by Tuncay.

His back-heel flick goal was better.

there were plenty of goals similar to Nani´s, Ronaldo´s free-kick was special.

Ronaldo's free-kick against Sunderland was potentially better; it was top left corner but the arc on the ball was ridiculous how it went up and down at that speed.

Good for Ronaldo. However the team awards come first and he must help us to win in Moscow.

Ronaldo's most crucial freekick was against Sporting in added time. If he scores a trademark freekick in Moscow it would be a truely special moment that will last in peoples memories close to Zidane's goal.

No question about that. For me that was kinda like that Roberto Carlos free kick in 97. It wasn't similar, but it's one of those one-in-a-million perfect shots that will always be remembered.

We were already qualified so it wasn't really that crucial.

Tevez goal against West Ham and Nani's against Spurs were more impressive.

Yes, Milwall in 04. Ruud won MoM but handed the champagne to Ronaldo if I remember rightly, because the young Ronaldo was magnificent that day.
