I guess, too bad, if we could pull it off I'm sure we'd be the envy of most supporters groups. That and it's just plain cool.

It's a great song but it's going to be very hard to get it to catch on. Someone needs to stand outside the Stretford End with a few thousand flyers with the words printed on them!

if it does, then it'll only be a matter of time before we get it at OT. it's a great chant, and everyone will want to be a part of it - if we can get it off the fuckin ground.

The general consensus of people I spoke to about the song criticised the lyrics for being a bit gay and a bit crap

Nothing to do with the amount of words. We have other verbose chants that are sung regularly

Possibly, who knows

Personally I like the beat to it, its potentially catchy. But I don't think much of the lyrics. I don't see it catching on

I Just thought being an Argentinian song it would be apt to apply it to our future united legend.

Something tells me he is going to require a fuckin good song in the near future.

Not saying my lyrics are perfect but the melody and origins of the song are perfectly suited to our little Argentinian.

Really, a River Plate song mocking Boca fans is a perfectly suited origin for a song about Tevez?

Also, I envisage problems with the eight-part refrain being different after each verse. 'Manchester, Manchester etc, then the next time 'United, United' and so on.

So I thought of a very easy way of avoiding this confusion this morning. The refrain could be just the same after every verse, thus;

'Man-ches-ter U-ni-ted
Man-ches-ter U-ni-ted,
Man-ches-ter U-ni-ted
Man-ches-ter U-ni-ted'

Any good?

The River Plate videos are amazing. Surely you can't be serious? I can imagine, if it really took off and was well done, it'd be the envy of the rest of the PL fans.

Let's get there first!
