Well they mainly contributed to our season by playing...

De Gea - 7 shaky start, settled after run of games, looks like he's gonna be the real deal.
Lindegaard - 7 solid, good 'keeper. Rafael - 6 OK. Evra - 6 Not his greatest season, he was racially abused though. Fabio - 6 See Rafael. Rio - 7 Average season by his standards. Evans - 8 His best season to date. Smalling - 7 Unlucky with injuries, continued form from last year. Jones - 7 Excellent start, consistency understandably faltered near end of the season. Valencia - 8 Great. Nani - 7 Good season. Young - 7 Good debut season, shone in some games. Anonymous in others. Park - 6 OK. Scholes - 9 Our best player this season. Giggs - 6 OK. Carrick - 8 Solid, main man in the centre of the park. Cleverley - 6 Unlucky, jury is out. Anderson - 6 Great start, faltered. Rooney - 8 Our top scorer. Hernandez - 6 Not as easy the second season. Welbeck - 8 Looks the business. Berbatov - 6 Didn't really get a chance. Owen - 5 Who? |

Just cos he started so slow
Don't rate De Gea so low, Dabeeth put your red gloves on Let's all go roast with Rio. Who cares how mu-u-u-ch dough You cost United - so? City spunked eighteen fucking million on that spacker, Jo. |

De Gea - 8 - Shaky start as was so heavily publicised with errors in between, but made some fantastic saves and has really developed and settled well. Not forgetting his save of the season against Chelsea.
Lindegaard - 7 - Never really let us down when he came in. Barely conceded a goal for ages. Excellent back up to have. Rafael - 7 - Did well in the absence of other defenders, seems to be improving, let down by the Everton game though (I'll leave that there!) Evra - 7 - Done a bit better than last season, hasn't seemed to get caught out quite as much, been pretty reliable throughout, had a nightmare against City though. Made up for that with his Liverpool celebration. Fabio - N/A - When did he play? Rio - 7 - Not spectacular but good nonetheless, performance and fitness both more reliable this season. Could've really struggled when Vidic went down, but seems to have guided Evans to his best season yet. Evans - 7 - I don't quite buy into the praise that he's been brilliant, but he's certainly been better than ever before. The game at home to Norwich he was awful, and I started to worry for his future at the club, but has looked so much more assured and much less of a liability than before. Smalling - 6 - One of our better performers in the league, and I was very impressed with his domestic form until injury hit. Rafael's form kept him out for the rest of the season then. Looked promising though. Jones - 7 - I'm giving him a 7 for his early season form alone. Champions League games aside (where he looked iffy now and again) he was probably our best player over the first 10-15 games. He'd nailed down his place in the team, and surprisingly played more games than anyone else at one point. Form seems to have declined since that Newcastle game though, and although he hasn't been as good as the early Jones, he's been steady. Valencia - 8 - First half of the season seemed to be spent injured or playing right back. I was happy enough when he played right back, although the game at home to Norwich stands out as a weak point. The home game to Blackburn seemed to be the turning point. Pushed up field he was a constant threat and got us back into the game, god knows how he didn't win it alone. Then of course the Blackburn away game, same thing, constant threat, except this time he did win it. POTY. Nani - 7 - A good season, although not quite as good as last season. Chipping in with goals without quite turning too many games. Started the season excellently before also been hit by a few injuries. Young - 7 - Good first season, won the game at West Brom, was excellent against Arsenal, and suffered a mysterious injury around the time his form dipped. Had a few quite months, but ended the season how he started it. Park - Again, did he play this season? Scholes - 8 - Majestic return. If we'd have won the league we'd be saying it was down to him, now we can ask how big an impact it really had. I think City could've won the title at the Etihad without Scholes. Won nearly every game he played in. Giggs - 6 - Just not had the same effect this season. He's been good in spells, such as both Norwich games, the Chelsea game, but far too often has been wasteful, when you've wanted someone else on in his place. Carrick - 8 - Excellent season for him. Calm, composed. Not much to say about him other than he's done his job well, great return to form. Cleverley - 6 - Started the season incredibly brightly as one of the standout performers. We can wonder what would have happened if Davies hadn't have scythed him down and other injuries hit. Promising debut. Anderson - 6 - Like Cleverley, started really well, but faded quickly and, again, like Cleverley, injuries took their toll. Rooney - 8 - Hit and miss in a lot of games, but has always been there for us this season. Unlike last season when he was being carried, he had his most productive season yet. Even when playing poorly he's scored two goals for us and won games. Hernandez - 6 - Just not happened for him. Won the game at Swansea, unlucky to get injured against Stoke, but never really got back to fitness. Hopefully a summer off will aide that. Welbeck - 7 - Great start from Welbeck, forming a good partnership with Rooney. One real standout moment for me from Welbeck was when we were being hammered by City, and seemingly everyone had given up, apart from him, who was still sprinting back into our own half. Really good to see. If he can work a bit on his touch and finishing we could have a real one on our hands. Berbatov - 6 - It took Suarez most of the season to overtake Berba's goal tally for the season, yet I barely remember him playing aside from the Blackburn and Stoke games. Probably says it all. Owen - Did he play this season? |

De Gea - 7 - Lazy start to the season getting caught out for those 2 goals against City and WBA, then did well up till Christmas when he had the dodgy game against Blackburn and then Liverpool in the cup but then turned it around and was brilliant
Lindegaard - 6 - Did better being De Gea understudy than did when the focus was on him Rafael - 5 - Seems more negatives about him getting caught out defensively than doing anything positive this season Evra - 6 - Personally I dont thin he's been that bad but I suspect I'll get slaughtered for giving him anything higher than a 6 Fabio - N/A - Has he even played? Rio - 8 - In a season where Vidic has been missed almost entirely we've needed him to put his injures behind him and he's done that. He's lost a yard of pace which has showed on occasion but more often than not he's been immense Evans - 8 - Would have got a higher mark than Ferdinand because of his improvement but alas he did get sent off against City which led to the 1-6 Smalling - 6 - Seems ages since he actually had a run of games and seeing as we went out of all the cup competitions so early on it feels like he's hardly played Jones - 7 - Brilliant start, I mean he looked like he was going to be a world beater, faded badly in the second half of the season though Valencia - 8 - Started the season like he'd forgot to play football he was that bad but when he got good my word (Wilkins alert) was he good. Faded in the last 5 or so games of the season Nani - 6 - Didn't live up to the expectations he set last season unfortunately. He'll be back next year though Young - 7 - For the most part I think his performances have been shit however the lad scores goals and given it's his first season at the club I'll be kind Park - 4 - Worst player to don the United shirt this season Scholes - 8 - Probably been the best he's been since 06/07. Wouldn't of made it to the last day in touching distance without him. Doubt he'll be as good next year though unfortunately ![]() Giggs - 5 - Not been his year, it hasn't worked for him either in midfield or wide left. Next year will unfortunately be his last as well ![]() Carrick - 9 - Barley had a bad game since Swansea away in November. Haters gonna hate but he's been my Player of the Season quite easily Cleverley - 7 - So much early promise only for Kevin Davies to come along and ruin it all. Hope he stays fit next season.... Anderson - 5 - See above but unlike Cleverley Anderson just did his usual disappearing act as soon as we all get our hopes up Rooney - 8 - Equalled his best ever goal scoring season and without having to play the furthest forward this time, some of his performances during his best goal scoring runs though have been dire goals aside Hernandez - 4 - Equal worst player to don the United shirt this season Welbeck - 8 - Very encouraging signs, less injuries and more composure next season and we've got a very good player on our hands Berbatov - 7 - Lets be honest we can only really judge him on those 2 games over Christmas where he scored 5 goals because he's barely played either side of them. Sad to see such a talent not get games when Hernandez has (at times Welbeck shouldn't of been picked ahead of him either) Owen - 5 - Scored against Leeds didn't he? Hasn't done fuck all since. I'd be amazed if we keep him around next season |

De Gea – 7 – Excellent for the second half, not so hot for the first half. Bodes well for next season.
Lindegaard – 6 – Solid when called upon, but not mind blowing. Rafael – 6 – Typical Rafael, 4 games of class, 1 game of mentalness, 5 games out injured. Evra – 7 – Despite not being at his best, still our most consistent player and can be relied upon all year long Fabio – 3 – Can’t be doing much in training if Evra can never, EVER get a rest Rio – 8 – Unexpectedly excellent for almost 40 matches this season. Could never have seen that coming. Evans – 8 – Getting there, but still has a bit of that ‘Silvestre’ factor – where he only makes one mistake but it’s game changing. Smalling – 6 – Can’t tell how good he is. Some high profile mistakes and couldn’t manage to stay fit for much of the season. Jones – 6.5 – Some very encouraging moments, but not ready yet. So young that it doesn’t worry me too much. Valencia – 7.5 – Excellent for the half a season he was fit. Nani – 7.5 – Ran the show for the first two thirds of the year, but kind of faded. Young – 7 – Got better and better towards the end of the year, but injury disrupted overall performance Park – 0 – When he plays, we drop points. Scholes – 8.5 – We only lost 1 game he played in – and that was when he had to deal with Park. Still not the long term answer, but awesome. Giggs – 5.5 – His good moments were few and far between, and his become more wasteful and less penetrative (on the pitch) this year. Just about past it. Carrick – 9 – Our best player across the whole season, can’t ask for much more from him. Did his job at a high level all year. Cleverley – 5 – Still have no idea if the hype is justified. Anderson – 3 – Surely on the last (injured) legs of his United career. Better come back in tip top shape or he’s done here. Rooney – 8.5 – Managed an incredibly productive year without ever looking truly at his best. A bit like our team in the league. Hernandez – 6 – Despite being the second highest scorer, his play was generally poor and he missed loads of guilt-edged chances. Welbeck – 7 – Not clinical enough for me yet, but his progress over the past 2 years is shocking. Berbatov – na – I can’t even give the last two ratings. Not enough minutes to judge. Scored when called upon, never called upon. Owen – na – Did he play? Fergie – 5.5 – 89 points in the league is amazing, but his tactics and team selection can be clearly shown to have cost all the trophies. Loses a whole point for the tameness of the team he played against City. |

De Gea - 7 - Started nervously, made a few mistakes but has been class.
Lindegaard- 6 - Good when relied upon, but not totally convinced (City in the cup.) Rafael - 6 - Injuries at the start of the year, came back and performed well but mistakes in the last couple of games have been costly. Still my first choice. Evra - 6 - Fantastic going forward, gives us an outlet on the left but his positioning defensively has been a bit off this season. Fabio - 5 - Solid whenever he has played, but not enough appearences and too many injuries. Rio - 8 - Great year. Stayed clear of injuries and been for the most part very dependable. Evans - 8 - Formed a good partnership with Rio and has grown into a very good defender. Smalling - 6 - Very good at the start of the year and looked promising. Injuries since Christmas have ruined his season. Jones - 6 - Great first few months, but has been poor recently. First year, so I'm probably being a bit harsh, but I expected a bit more. Valencia - 8 - Runner up for player of the year for me. Racked up the assists and chipped in with a couple of important goals. Top player. Nani - 7 - Good year. When looking at his stats he has been similar to Bale in less games. Our best winger, just a bit of a stop-start season. Young - 7 - Good first season at OT. First few games he was electric, but slumped going into Christmas. He has been very good in the last couple of months. Park - 3 - Might be being harsh, but I don't really see what his role is and sadly I can't see him being kept on. Scholes - 8 - Made an fantastic impact since returning. Still the maestro, what else can be said? Giggs - 5 - Poor year by his standards, in my opinion. Others may disagree but he is often very wasteful and gives the ball away cheaply in midfield. Carrick - 9 - My player of the year. His best season in a while, and consistently very good. Great at retaining the ball and screening the defence. Lets others play their game. Cleverley - 6 - Very promising start to the year, but got injured and has found it tough since. Hoping for a lot next year, as he does have the talent. Anderson - 4 - Again, he started off with Cleverley very well, but has disappeared with injuries. Last chance saloon next season. Rooney - 8 - Great goalscoring year, but I can't help think that his overall game hasn't quite been at in some games this season. Hernandez - 6 - Found it tough this year, but still got 12 goals. Still think he is a very good striker and I reckon he'll be back on form next season. Welbeck - 7 - Brilliant season, and I would've given him and 8 if he was just a little bit more clinical. I reckon he'll get 20 goals next season. Berbatov - 4 - Scored a hat-trick, among a few other goals but has found game time limited. Class player, and I'll be gutted to see him go but he deserves games. Owen - 2 - Got the goals against Leeds, but his activity has been restricted to Twitter. Will be off in the summer. |

De Gea 6.5 ( Had dodgy moments and moments of brilliance)
Lindegaard 6.5 ( Did well when called upon) Rafael 6.5 ( Injured a bit, messed up against Athletic and Everton but class otherwise) Evra 6 ( Decent most of the season which gives 7 except for his periods of crap) Fabio 5 ( Didn't have much doing) Rio 8 ( Did well for most of the season) Evans 8 ( Same as Rio) Smalling 7 ( Performed well) Jones 6.5 ( Season of two halves for him) Valencia 8 ( Class when he came back from injury pushing him above 7, which I would have given him considering his first half of the season) Nani 7 ( Did well) Young 7 ( Same as Nani) Park 4 ( Didn't have any good games and only good for a few spells in some of those) Scholes 8 ( Rarely shown his age and done well) Giggs 6 ( Not as good as his previous efforts) Carrick 9 ( Consistent. Can barely think of a bad game from him) Cleverley 6 ( Injuries ruined it) Anderson 6 ( Same as Cleverley) Rooney 9 ( His goals tell it all. Performances were a bit dodgy at times so no 10) Hernandez 6.5 ( Lost it a bit compared to last season but rest will do him well) Welbeck 7 ( If he had a bit more composure in front of goal he'd have had an 8) Berbatov 6 ( Contributed when he got the chance) Owen 5.5 ( Didn't play much but got goals when he did) |

De Gea - 8 Was faced with an impossible task of replacing Van Der Sar, but has been good.
Lindegaard - 7 Excellent back up, largely better than De Gea when called upon. Didn't play enough to get an 8. Rafael - 7 Didn't play enough to get an 8. Evra - 7 Defensive liability at times, otherwise would be an 8 Fabio - 6 Didn't play enough to get a 7. Rio - 8 Great player as always. Evans - 8 I never thought he would partner Rio well, but he did and it worked fantastically. Smalling - 7 Somewhere between a 6 and an 8 depending on the day. Jones - 7 Same as Smalling Valencia - 8 Mostly injured. Often amazing. Nani - 8 Sometimes injured, left out of the teams recently or would be a 9. Young - 7 Good first season, didn't set the world alight. Park - 4 Considering how he ended last season, what on earth happened? Scholes - 9 I'm tempted to give him a 10 for forming a great partnership with Carrick which I never thought he'd manage. POTS despite being retired for half of it. Giggs - 6 Needs to retire for half a season and then come back. Carrick - 9 The constant. I actually thought he had a slightly better season last year, but everyone else thinks he is doing better this year. Whatever, he was brilliant. Cleverley - 6 Didnt play enough to get a 7. Got a 6 because of a few good performances as the season start. Anderson - 6 Same as Cleverley. Rooney - 9 Should have waited until now to renegotiate his contract. Hernandez - 6 Second season syndrome. Welbeck - 8 So glad we have him. Berbatov - 5 Played as little as Cleverley and Fabio Owen - 2 His horse won a race the other day |

De Gea 8 -- Great contribution and showed great confidence to overcome a shaky start.
Lindegaard 7 -- Did better than expected when called upon. Amos 6.5 -- Quite impressive in brief cameos. Rafael 6.5 -- Made some progress but still too much of a bull in a china shop defending around our penalty area. Evra 6 -- Below par most of the season, but an ever present leader in the side. Fabio 5 -- Didn't play enough. Rio 8 -- One of his best seasons in a few years. Vidic 6 -- Our rock but only gets a 6 since he missed over half the season. Evans 9 -- Expected him to be a flimsy bandaid when Vidic went, turned out to be fucking superglue. Smalling 7 -- Blighted by injury at times, but looked impressive at right back and centreback. Jones 6.5 -- Looked a 9 at times and a 4 at others. Averaged it to get 6.5. Valencia 8.5 -- Poor start and poor finish but absolutely carried the team for a long stretch. Nani 7.5 -- More and more consistent, but still infuriating at times. Young 8 -- More end product than expected for his first season. Park 3 -- Nothing of note. Fucking awful in the title decider. Scholes 8 -- Probably the reason we only lost the title on goal difference. Giggs 7 -- Same old Giggs of the last few years. Moments of brilliance followed by questions of whether he's still got it. Carrick 9.5 -- Player of the season without question from me. Cleverley 6.5 -- Looked very promising before the injury. Get's a .5 bonus for getting injured and forcing Scholesy back. Anderson 6.5 -- Looked once again to have turned the corner before injury struck (once again). Fletcher 6 -- Illness aside, everything you'd expect from Fletch. As with Vidic, only a 6 for missing majority of season. Rooney 8.5 -- Scored all season long. Hernandez 6 -- Sophomore slump, still scored some important goals. Welbeck 8 -- Better than I could have hoped for his first year in the first team. Scored some great goals and general play was more than enough to confine Berbatov to the bench. Berbatov 5 -- Didn't seem to have much fight after Welbeck won his place in the starting XI. Still under-utilized. Owen 1 -- If he were one of his horses, he'd have been sent to the glue factory by now. |

De Gea - 8: Took him a while, but once he settled he was top class. Saved us points.
Lindegaard - 6: Was good when he played, but out with injury for most of the season. Rafael - 6: Some games he was very good, others he was a liability. Average season. Evra - 6: Attacking wise he was good, but defensively he just looks uninterested. Still better than last season. Fabio - N/A Rio - 8: Class. Held the defence in the absence of Vidic. Evans - 8: Like Rio, he came in and looked right in place in that defence. Smalling - 7: Whenever he played, he did not disappoint. Jones - 6: Went from one of our best players, to one of our worst in a matter of months. Valencia - 9: Top class. The way he bullied fullbacks was a joy to watch. Nani - 7: Started well, but then went off the boil abit. Young - 7: Contributed well in his first season. Goals, Assists but needs to cut our the dives. Park - 5: Pretty bad. Is always on the ground when the ball comes to him. Scholes - 8: Fantastic as ever. Brought some much needed composure to our midfield. Giggs - 7: Like Nani, some good performances and some average ones. Carrick - 9: Held the midfield together. Top class. Cleverley - 7: Showed promise early on, then injury disrupted his season. Anderson - 6: Like Cleverly, but I fear for his United career. Rooney - 7: Got the goals, but was really frustrating and inconsistent in his general play. Hernandez - 6: Can't control the ball for nuts. Welbeck - 7: A real surprise the way he came in and looked so comfortable playing next to Rooney. Berbatov 6 : Thanks for the memories Berba. Owen - N/A |

De Gea 6 - Good character towards end. Costly errors earlier on. Arrogant Spanish facial hair
Lindegaard - 7 Back up. Dependable. Brain Rafael - 6 Rarely allowed to play fullback, due to being an actual fullback. Good when allowed, and not being a mental. Mental Evra - 6 Poor defending. Not allowed to be rested, ever. Destroyed Liverpool FC forever. Fabio - n/a - Not allowed to play left fullback due to Evra not being alllowed a rest. Not allowed to play right fullback due to being a fullback. Mental Rio - 7 Good second half of season. Spent first half of season in slow motion. Back. Evans - 7 Stepped up. Improved ball distribution and strength. Brainless maniacle challenges. Smalling - 6 Not a fullback. Used as a fullback. Not small Jones - 5 Not a fullback. Used as a fullback. Never quite sure if he's pretending to have control of ball or pretending not to have control of ball. Valencia - 8 Valencia'd people a lot. Not a fullback. Used as a fullback Nani - 7 Obsessed with chipping goalkeeper. Good Nani very very good. Bad Nani still quite bad. Young - 7 Runs a lot. Constant, identical crosses. Occasional pointlessness Park - 5 Not a central midfielder. Used as a central midfielder. 3 old lungs. Scholes - 8 Retired. Still best player despite being retired. No legs Giggs - 6 50 years old. Still extremely good. Turned noticably less extremely good towards end of season Carrick - 8 Poor start to seasonl. Good rest of season. From November onwards, team unable to not look useless when not playing. Cleverley - 6 Now Scholes. Injured a lot, new Hargreaves. Come back and only used as sub/spare part. New O'Shea Anderson - 6 Claimed he was going to "destroy". Destroyed himself. haircut Rooney - 8 Goals. Lack of daft suspensions. Reverse haircut Welbeck - 7 Busy body. Trained how to finish by Andy Cole. Will marry me. Berbatov - 7 Scored a hatrick every time he played again. No sulking despite sulking all the time. Will also marry me Owen - goin'. Twitter. Horse racing Ferguson - 5 Stupid tampering with players' positions. No midfielder. Blackburn. Still a winner. Hernandez - 6 Offside! |

Bloody hell. Some of you lot genuinely must not watch much football. Carrick 6.5?
De Gea - 8, High Profile mistakes, but he helped us to more points than he hindered us in the end. Matches like Stoke and Chelsea away stick in the mind where this lad made some unreal saves to keep us going. Ended with a good amount of clean sheets Lindegaard - 8, Back up keeper who managed to get into the first team and hold it down for a while. Shame about the injury, but he couldn't have a much better season than he did have. Rafael - 7, Didn't play as many games as he liked and some high profile mistakes. Still massively promising and still going to be amazing Evra - 7, He had a poor year for himself, but a poor year for Evra places him above most left backs in the world. Still love the guy, hope he gets a rest soon. Fabio - 6, Went from playing in a CL final, to not really featuring, hope his loan works out! Rio - 9, World Class player, 30 league games, magnificent form. Evans - 9.5, Apart from the City game, almost a perfect season for young Jonny. What a star we have on our hands Smalling - 7, Such a shame, I think he's the best youngster we have atm, really wanted him to push on but injuries derailed him Jones - 6, Young and learning at this level Valencia - 9.5, Wasn't perfect this season, but pretty damn close for a right winger Nani - 8, Injuries hampered this lad. Still fantastic to watch, and glad we've got him here Young- 7, My initial scepticism wore off after a while, and he had a really good run of goals and games. Still not as good as our other wingers, and quite frustrating, but good solid debut year Park - 6, Not his best year unfortunately. Wish he could have gotten more starts Scholes - 9, What a player, thank fuck I've got to see him in the flesh a few more times Giggs - 6, Probably my harshest mark, and thankfully we had him against Norwich, but I think he's had a bit of a poor year at times. Will come back next year and ram my words down my throat Carrick - 10, Couldn't have done anything else. My player of the year Cleverley - 6.5, Wish injuries hadn't have scuppered this lad. Looks promising Anderson - 7.0, Was genuinely good at the start of the year, and looked to have developed his goalscoring a bit.... Can't wait to have this lad fit for a season. Will be a monster Rooney - 9.0, 2nd top scorer, scored some very important goals Hernandez, 7.5, sometimes didn't play as well as you'd like, but 10 league goals was it? Injuries again hampered him Welbeck - 9.5, Fantastic to watch, good on the ball, scored some decent goals, and now a mainstay at one of the biggest clubs in the world. Well done Danny lad Berbatov - 6.0, Please don't leave ![]() Owen - 5.0 Standard Owen season, scores if he plays and then injured |

We were literally 2 minutes away from being champions. Be very interesting to see the ratings in a parallel universe had City not scored late on. Considering the league is the bread and butter of the team, not many teams will do better than this one. |
