I hope this one of those ones where he makes a miraculous recovery after the England game but it's not in SAF's nature to deny someone of their Int'l debut. I'll also wait for official confirmation from the club as the media initially reported it as an ankle injury.

You say that but then any 1 of our players can get impact injuries. He plays in the tightest area of the field, where everybody is trying to nip the ball back as quick as possible and will leave there foot in for good measure.

Tom has been a bit unlucky with injuries so far but i no doubt once he can get a run of a few games he will be absolutely fine.

Injuries usually come in doubles - wether its because he was subconsciously putting extra weight on that foot because of the other injured one and leaving it behind a bit longer to move his other foot first who knows.

But he doesnt seem the type to be always injured.

He has a history sadly but he's still young so I'm hopeful he'll get over it.

Im sure he will, making the step up to playng 60+ games a year isnt easy, and not having the rest time hes used to between games takes a while to adjust too.

Im sure the lad will be fine though.

we were all so happy he is back but now hes back he has gone and injured himself although the club hasnt said how long, this is getting beyond a joke. Rafael and Fabio are young and used to get injured so much, I hope the same isnt with Cleverley because it would be a real shame for him and us.

I don't feel overly worried about Cleverley's injuries if I'm being honest. He got a major one at the start of the season admittedly, however that does happen to almost all players at one stage of their career another. It seems that this injury isn't a re-occurence the last one, which is good.

If you have six months to go till your birthday, do you say its nearly here. Thats friggin' half a year. And so what if he is 22/23, he can still play for 10+ years.

Well ok but it's still quite late on to just start your career.

Scholes was 23 or thereabouts when he got his first matches in centre mid for United.

You're talking out of your arse... Fabregas and those of his ilk are rarities, not everybody's ready for a top club at that young an age, especially not in a position like CM.

Personally, from a United point of view, I hope he doesn't go to the Euro's. It sounds like he needs a good summer off to mend and get a good pre-season behind him for next year.

Last thing we need is an injury at the Euro's, no pre-season and a stop start beginning to next season.

Not to mention that Carrick simply is a better player and deserve to go much more than Cleverley

If he isn't in the squad for the Euros then he'll be in the squad for the olympic games.............therefore we all should hope he'll be in the squad for the Euros.

I hope he goes too (not at the expense of Carrick though, he deserves it more), he needs as much football as possible.

England would do well to play both. But it will be Lampard, Barry and Milner probably.

Good news - though with our luck this probably means he has both feet knackered

Madness to play him on the wing whereas he was a million times more needed in midfield.
