Some first half thoughts...

Very very quiet first half from Berbatov. Still trying to figure out his role in the team. I would expect Berba to come out for the second half, but to be replaced by Rooney at the 60-70th.

Anderson's having a nice game and doing all the right things. Getting forward whenever possible too.

I feel that based on Nani's last start for United, that he should have started this game. Park is a good player, but I feel that Nani's crossing ability would have been more beneficial, especially with Berba starting.

Overall, I am a little concerned with how few creative ideas we have when faced with a deep defence and midfield sitting behind the ball. Neither Berb or Tevez are able to get in behind the defence, and thus are limited to quick but ineffective one two's and layoffs.

I think we have been playing well and had a few half decent chances and a lot of possession. But Bolton have had the better chances.

To be honest, we are lacking up front. So far, Tevez and Berbatov haven't worked well together. Anderson and Ronaldo look the two most likely to score.

At this stage, I'd seriously consider bringing Rooney on for either of the strikers.

We need to get a goal early in the second half because I would't be suprised if Bolton got a goal.

It'll be Wazza for Park imo, reckon SAF will keep Berba on til he scores

Fletcher has been outstanding so far.

I wouldn't say Fletcher has been outstanding, but I will say that he has been very consistent, which is good. Making all his passes, somewhat directing tempo and working hard.

I actually agree that Rooney for Park would be the most ideal substitution I can think of.

A goal in the first 10-15 minutes of the second half is needed. Bolton defend stalemates quite well.

Well...... Here's to the Gods for the second half.

The game ended just fine for us. We had suddenly clicked and the football was breathtaking. Its a shame we ran out of time.
