Stoppage Time
This may seem petty, but if we're going to be given a hard time about it when we (fairly) get a high amount, I'm going to bring it up when it goes against us.
I was surprised by the 5 minutes (expected at least 6), so decided to look through the BBC minute-by-minute updates (I know this won't be entirely accurate but it's likely to give a decent representation). According to the timings there should've been more than 5 minutes just from the Drogba injury/fit, the goal, and Carvalho's cheating. That's not even taking into account general stoppages and of course substitutions. Then he added 5 seconds for the Anelka substitution (onto what turned out to be the bare minimum of 5 minutes). He's a quick guy, but I doubt got off the pitch that fast. I'm not saying this massively affected anything, but remembering how many late goals we've scored, every little helps. |

Spot on. Should have been added more, much more. But we will no see much higher figures in football stoppage time that often - especially not in our favour after the recent hoo-ha.
