Good you go and watch a local team though. I can't understand folk who deny themselves that experience. Following football on TV isn't the same |

I'm an irish fan who travels over about 10 times a season and damn does it take a lot out of the kitty! I also co-own a one year ST so am able to get to the top games.
Let me tell you something, there is not one person in that stadium who sings more than me. I sit in the family stand which means that not exactly everyone surrounding me is up for singing there hearts out. A lot of the times its just me and the fella beside me singing out of the hole family stand! So how can these "sit down, sit down" united fans who hardly open their fucking mouth during game tell me not to support United just because they aren't my local team! Whare is the logic? BRING BACK THE TERRASES!! |

But it is people like me who get the raw deal, £250 for a tickets and some chips. No Top Reds would pay that. That's like 1/4 of your average ST for a game |

Look at yourselves, you bunch of cretinous spastics. You're supposed to be supporting the same team.
Also, Pert has a point. Spending close to a grand on a season ticket is obviously a big expense, but if they lived in Manc and could afford it, I bet any United fan would do so without hesitation. Spending £400+ on one fecking game is a big deal though, whether you can afford it or not...if you get what I'm trying to say. That's not meant to be a dig at anyone, btw |

To be honest, I'd say that mancs do have to deal with some real fuckwits when it comes to match day. I personally can't stand Irish football fans. The rugby fans are a class above but half the football fans are English football fan wannabes. The types that sing 'who are ya!' and boo a minutes silence for the babes at Croke Park.
That said I have a right to criticise as I am Irish. I will not have some English lads criticise the Irish abroad when the scum of their own land infest every holiday resort on the continent every summer. The English abroad are detested by everyone, so I don't see why these lads are on their high horse. |
