Tevez is not overrated. He is an exceptional player for us. He drops deep and creates alot for the team. If people call him overrated because he does not score enough goals than they are wrong because Tevez is not an out-and-out goal scorer. He is more of an attacking forward or a playmaker. We need a natural front target man.

Give me a B, an E, an R, a B, an A, a T, an O and a V.

Was i he only one then who thought that Tevez seemed a tad out of character? I mean some of his reactions to challenges and such, all that exaggeration, it's not like our Carlos to do that is it?

Was a little odd, hopefully just a one off.

And no he is not overrated.

He was brilliant in pre-season and superb last night. He's playing like the Rooney of old right now and long may it continue.

Tevez for captain.

Before we bought him A LOT of us wanted him and it's rare that so many of us are right at the same time about the same thing.

Once he adds goals to that work ethic/performance

It's 'almost' like cheating

He is class.

If he continues in the same form, and gets 20 goals this season, we'll be laughing.

He is like a magnet to the ball

No one needs another striker more than Tevez himself. Carlitos' style of play means he'll need to be rested every now and again.

I agree with the thread starter. I've never seen him play that well before. Exceptionally skillful and combative, looks a bit quicker than last season too.

If we get Berbatov it will be an excellent problem.

Still plays far too deep. Needs to be further up the pitch and making these runs and passes where it really matters. Theres no denying he looks better than last season though. But he doesn't get in position to shoot enough, he was playing like a midfielder last night.

Premature ejaculation lads

p.s. also needs to score more!
