Are there any cheap, but not really cheap hotels in Manchester, £60 a night perhaps?

I was thinking of coming over on the Firday, staying over, touring OT then watching the match and flying home on the Saturday evening

Thanks for all your help btw
Any help you need Pert, give me a call I'll PM you my number nearer the time.

I live right next to Piccadilly train station, and could well be traveling to OT any way.

do you think there's any chance to get tickets for a reasonable price to Liverpool (22 Mar) or Arsenal (12 Apr) games if I get oneunited membership or from anyone here?

(my cousin moved to dublin last month and he's got a car so I'm wondering which is the better way, a ferry from dublin to liverpool and a drive to manchester or ryanair from dublin to manchester)

i travel over from ireland quite a lot for matches and for the liverpool match next match the flight prices are mental with both ryanair and liverpool, over 350 euro return for the flight. The ferry may well be the best option for you

What he said, cheapest tickets are North Stand Tier 3 I think but they're not the greatest seats.

I just payed/paid (I never know which to use) £49 for a ticket to the Sunderland game from viagogo as it's the only game I can attend for a while

Season ticket for sale. Face value. Genuine reason for sale

It is with a heavy heart that i have to give up my season ticket for this season. A massive change in circumstances in the last 2 weeks means i will not be able to afford to go this season, so it is for sale at it's face value. The seat is situated in the STRETFORD END LOWER, TURNSTILE W10, ROW SS. The ticket cost £475 + cup games so if you are interested please let me know at manutd.topfan@hotmail.co.uk

Sorry if this is in the wrong place, or if it is not the done thing, but i would rather see a United fan get it than a tout.

I badly need to get my hands on 3-5 tickets for any home game in septemeber (except V sunderland) for me and my mates.

We are DESPERATE to get to OT and ROAR til our throats no longer produce any sound possible even if that means singing pretty much on our own! (would prefer to be with some others up for a good chant though!)

Please, please anyone help us!!

I've found that in their first season one united members don't tend to get chubbed that often.

If you apply as a single seat you have more chance of a successful application

I'd like to go to a few away games this season as I've never been to watch us away.

How do I go about buying tickets for away games? Do I ring the ticket line at United or the other club?

Can I just ask why you choose the Liverpool and Arsenal games... much more unlikely to get tickets for these.

More than likely you won't stand a chance, you need to be a ST holder, go all cup games etc...

Your best bet is to sit in the home end at games like Everton and Bolton who usually don't sell out.

Anybody have any spares for Sunderland or Spurs.

Would ideally be looking for two, but would settle for one.

Myself and a friend of mine are looking to go to the home match against Newcastle in January. Does anyone know a good place online to order tickets for this match?

I thought the cheapest seats were in the Stretford paddock ( or West Lower as its known now ) and the East stand lower..

In fact I am sure they are far cheaper than NT3..

The chances of getting away tickets from United for away games are somewhere between absolutely no chance, and fuck all chance...

The only way you'll get tickets for aways is either through a tout ( and you can pay anything up to £100 per ticket for an away, maybe more if you use those touting companies ) or go stand outside the ground and hope to fuck some nice United fan turns up with spares and sells them at face value, but be warned there will be lots of people outside doing precisely that and the chances of someone whos never been before persuading a die hard to hand over tickets when theres other die hards about is remote...

Realistically, you've got little or no chance of getting a ticket without it costing you and arm and a leg...

Sorry to be the bearer of bad news..

( the other option is buy a seat in the home end, but unless you can sneak in a baseball bat and hard hat for protection, its not recommended for any game on Merseyside, unless you are either a ) Very brave or b) very stupid... )

This is correct, though all you can see from those seats is the keepers arse. Last time I sat there Howard was in goal. He has a suprisingly fat arse for a professional sportsman. I imagine if I'd seen Neville Southall from those seats I'll have accidently ingested some of his buttocks
