United to beat Barcelona

I know we are not in the CL anymore, but do we have what it takes to beat Barca or how can we match them?

What can we do with our current players including Injury hit players!

i think we need to sing Suarez and Downing. That's combined 55mil of attacking talent. I've read on RAWK they're both world class. With our shit squad that includes Nani and Rooney we don't stand a chance. With aforementioned players we will beat Barca!

We'll never beat Barca as long as we're made to wear those awful white kits. As much as it sounds like the worst scapegoat of all time, give us our proper kit at Old Trafford instead of that Bolton shit and they won't get to fuck with us like they have done in the last two finals.

They'd thrash us again in the away leg, obviously.

They are our fierce rivals and it's only a bit of banter mate - it's always been like it, since I could remember.

Fair enough. I hate Liverpool just as much as the next man, but just seems on here at times theres more chat about them than there is about United.

Rafeal-Rio-Smalling-Fabio

Valencia-Rooney-Nani

With cameos from Park and Giggs and Hernedez.

Rooney to hover over the midfield and Nani to be the focal point of attack.

Unless the above said match happens and SAF's United team beats Barcelona convincingly, we can discuss what players to buy, enjoy writing formations..etc but will never know for sure.

We can't beat them because we keep getting weaker every season. 2009 we sold Ronaldo and let Tevez go, 2010 our players got older, 2011 we lost Scholes, Hargreaves, O'Shea, Brown, since then they've replaced Henry with Villa (via Ibrahimovic), and brought in Fabregas and Sanchez. How could we beat them by bringing in Valencia, Jones, Hernandez and Smalling? It is impossible, they are absolutely lightyears ahead of us. Of course we can still beat them over 90 minutes, even Hercules did last season, but they are still lightyears ahead of us. Last year we might have had a chance, with them having Mascherano at Centre back, but Ferguson used the wrong tactics, dropping Berbatov from the squad for no discernible reason, but even if he'd used the right ones, it wouldn't have changed the gap.

In 2009 we were still in touching distance of them, even if they were significantly ahead of them, but since then we've got worse and worse while they've got better and better. The only way for us to 'knock them off their perch' is to either A) Invest the money we should have been investing since 2009 or B) wait for them to fall off.
