United Fans....Come in all shapes and sizes..!!
About four months ago I'd had a weekend lie in and when I'd got my morning coffee went outside for the morning ciggy..! My wife said have a listen to that pidgeon on the wall it's singing "UNI-TED, UNI-TED"..! I looked at her as though she'd been smoking something strange and passed it off. Well sure enough every morning since we get woke up by the newly named Rooney singing his "UNI_TED"..!
As the season's worn on he's now got a few more mates in the form of Indian Minor birds (who can virtually copy anything you say or whistle to them) and we're serenaded by the Emirates Hills version of the scoreboard paddock (RIP)..! My son being a whitty little sod tried to get Rooney whistling along to "That Boy Ronaldo" which was a bit tricky though the minor birds were quite good at it but at last we've got him adding to his repertoire by successfully training him to sing "Ander-Son-Son-son...!!" Now every morning we've got three minor birds and a pidgeon bobbing their heads and marching along the walls doing a conga to Anderson....All we need now is to train them his Samba as they've already mastered crapping on the Chelse fans cars across the road...!! It's a weird world but at least our feathered friends are teaching all the birds in Dubai which teams number 1...!!! |

My wife and I call Collared Doves "United Birds" because their call is in the same rhythm of the old "U-ni-ted" chant. Kate Humble from the BBC thinks they say "I don't know" but I'm sure it's "U-ni-ted". Collared Doves. Hope this helps.

Thats a good story manux, I remember reading this story a while back..http://www.npr.org/templates/story/s...oryId=14293868, birds are very smart, I have a murder of crows living outside for about 5 years now, about 10-15, they are so smart, I have witnessed with my own eyes the crows throwing nuts too hard to break onto the road then waiting there for the cars to go by and crush them.... using the car as a tool?
