United's international captains

With Rio being chosen as captain of England, it got me wandering how many captains we have had that have led their respective countries?

I can think of the following:

Rio Ferdinand
Roy Keane
Darren Fletcher
Ryan Giggs

Going back I can think of:

David Beckham
Bryan Robson
Mark Hughes
Juan Seb Veron

We've also had two of our black players as England captain: Rio tonight and Paul Ince who was the first black player to captain England.

Others?

Henning Berg - Norway.
Eric Cantona, Fabien Barthez & Laurent Blanc - France.
Tim Howard - USA.
Phil Neville - England (for a portion of the second half in one game).
Keith Gillespie and David Healy, Northern Ireland.

EDIT: added a few more.

Gary Neville captained England in the Portugal game ahead of the likes of Gerrard, Terry when Beckham got taken off. He commanded himself pretty well and shook all the Portuguese players hands at the end of the game.

I don't think Sammy McIlroy was with United when he became Irish captain. He left I think, in 1982 and he was made captain during the 1984 World Cup (as I was reading on Wiki last night).

Phil Neville captained England once in a freidly. Cant remember who it was against, but i remember the armband was passed around about 4 times.

Not sure if he was at United then.

Did Jip Jaap Stam ever captain Holland?

Bobby Charlton captained England 3 times. Ray Wilkins 10 times.

David Platt, though obviously he was not England captain while at United.

Ferdinand is on a trial basis, so reality is:

Ronaldo
VDS

Those are the only consistent captains of their respective countries in this current squad.
