Lineup looks pretty strong will be expecting players like Jonny Evans making a real push for a first team place here. Would love to see him get more games this year than Pique got last...

Nobody seems to talk about Martin anymore, though I noticed he played against Aberdeen. How's he doing? Not going to make it?

Nani is not going because he played in Euro 2008 so got extra holiday time along with Ronaldo, VDS and Evra.
Anderson will be playing in the olympics so needs to train with the Brazil squad

I thought Rodrigo Possebon and Febian Brandy plus maybe Rafael and Fabio would have made the trip to South-Africa..

Welbeck is injured. He had to withdraw from the England squad due to injury.. No news about type and length of injury..

Yeah, it's extremely annoying that the likes of Gibson and Martin are going and Rodrigo and Brandy are not.

I really cant see him making it or playing a game this season, whilst Possebon looks like he could play a few games this season for us.

As on Saturday at Burscough, I suppose Rodrigo and Brandy are in the reserves squad.

VDS, Evra, Nani and Ronaldo were never intended to go due their involvement in the Euros, I think.

I assume Anderson and Dong aren't in the squad because they've been chosen for the Olympics.

I still have no idea who this new Michael Clegg is, or where Saha is.
