Utd Aggro

We have bother with Man Utd everytime we play them. A minority of their fans have a grudge against us and go around smacking anyone, be it Men, women or kids in colours (I've seen it happen).

West Brom representative

'Rather rowdy and ready to fight'

Southampton steward.

A number of MUFC fans (approx 100) arrived just before kick off and despite the presence of stewards and police moved the portable metal barriers which restrict access to the searching area in front of the turnstiles, and several jumped the turnstiles, all entered without being searched. The reputation of the MUFC fans as an unpleasant, arrogant and yobbish rabble remains unchallenged.

Villa steward

"A large proportion of the visitors arrived late with their anti social and aggressive conduct inflamed by intoxication"

Police officer WBA 2005.

This was a difficult match. The away supporters were arrogance personified when it came to compliance with requests to sit down. They also attempted to prevent beer bars closing at the end of half time.

Blackburn 2007

It was necessary to close one of the bars in the away end on police advice as a number of fans decided to help themselves and tried to get over into the bar area. the bar staff were in a state of shock - one pump was ripped and general damage caused to the bar itself. A large number of police in full riot gear and batons drawn were needed to restore order. A fire hose was released from a wall on the concourse and turned onto police trying to deal with the bar problem. all in all one of the worst fans we have had here for a long time

West Ham '06

Man U are one of the best in terms of noise but its like they're singing off hymn sheets and they don't seem to respond to whats happening on the pitch or join in any banter with the home fans.

Villa fan

Taken from an England supporters site while discussing the best away supports...we came out on top...

Some of those quotes are class

Jealous?

Liverpools away support is full of women and daytrippers now.
Evertons is far superior.

Our travelling support is definitely one of the highlights of being a Manchester United supporter.

I enjoy reading stories during the 70's & 80's where fans used to hitch-hike there way to games, would have loved to have been around in them days.

Yeah, thought it was ok, but it seems it was more of an adventure back then, with the addition of a tear up.

Have actually met him a couple of times and his mate Harry the dog

Sorry guys... but are you suggesting we should find these continuing antisocial/criminal acts by Utd fans praiseworthy in some way?

This is the attitude that has resulted in all-seaters.

Well done, thugs.

Was waiting for this.

What a load of bollocks, it's football...not theatre.

Or to get things in perspective:

It's football - not violent criminal acts.

Hitting kids, looting bars, jumping turnstiles.

All criminal acts - you can be passionate without being violent or committing illegalities.

So it seems you do approve of these acts, like RedFlag's white writing...

That approval is the load of bollocks.

As it has been said before, there isn't one club that doesn't have it's set of wankers.
Some simply have more idiots than others. Take Leeds, for example....

Our away support is second to none. I love those people with a passion. They spend their hard-earned money to cheer on the team we all love. Wherever we play they are still there. There is no words to describe the love I feel for them. United are lucky to have fans like that.
