Wayne Rooney - Legend In The Making

The past few days I've spent 1 or 2 hours each day putting together a little Rooney video. Mainly because I like making videos but also because I'm dying for the new season to get underway and this helps feed my football cravings

Anyway here it is, let me know what you think, my first time attempting a football video.

None taken, I debated on whether to use it but I like how it kicks in and thought I could match the clips to the music.

Not a bad tune - don't mind a bit of supergrass.
I'd be intrigued to know what VoetbalWizard would have used instead...

Awesome - I loved that run down the wing against Roma. He's deceptively fast as fuck.

Out of interest, how many goals has Rooney got against Newcastle?

Must be in the hundreds.

Pretty good video. I think quality of the picture is a very important matter. Some fools just put whatever they come across eventhough it looks like 4 moving sqares. The video has good music. I am sooooooooooooooo damn tired of these american shite songs. Just listen to this freaking crap. You couldn't tell it's a different band.

I really don't give this kind of music much time so I don't know many bands, therefor I don't have too many examples to give. I prefer britpop much more. Too many 12 year olds making videos these days and you kind of get their taste of music in the deal.

Why did you dull the colours in the video for his volley against Portsmouth?

Same here, I was watching the game on a shitty TV in Rwanda and jumped up and down like a maniac when he scored that goal...

You mean the Boro volley? It was meant to be a bit brighter but was just to add effect to it.

Cheers for all the comments guys, appreciate it.

This might sound somewhat contradictory, Ronaldo is the better player and is generally more effective, but I honestly feel that Rooney shows up in all match, where as Ronaldo can be marked out at times

I've always preferred Rooney over Ronaldo and always will, it's his attitude to the game that impresses me. Nothing is impossible with him, he combines power and elegance in a remarkable way, I could watch him play all day long.

How class is that goal v. Chelsea this year, I know we lost the match, but to score that, and then be too hurt to celebrate. United would be better off with 11 Rooneys as opposed to 11 Ronaldos there is no doubt in my mind about that

It was a terrific finish, I couldn't find the other angle of it but it looks superb when you see it from behind Rooney.

Scholes is my favourite United player of all time so i might do a vid on him next.

With talk about his progression as a player in the last few seasons, it really is refreshing watching that. What an amazing talent we have.

Good vid by the way, especially for a first effort, better than the majority I've seen on youtube.
