West Ham away... train alcohol ban... authorities nervous?

Walking through Piccadilly station this morning, noticed some big prominent signs up advising of a strict all-day alcohol ban on trains from Manchester to London on 5th December.

I may just be a bit unobservant, but I've never noticed these before. I know they do have alochol bans - I've only ever got trains to matches when I was living in London and coming up to OT, and they would have half-arse bans on the main trains when we were playing Chelsea etc. But this seems a bit more rigorous and planned.

Signs of the authorities over-racting and shitting themselves a little after Milwall & Burnley?

Anyway, if you're going to the match, and taking the train, you've had fair warning... start filling your hip flasks and mixing those coke bottles with Vodka now!
