Prunier was only on a 3 match loan with a view to signing if I am not correct.

Bosnich - even Fergie didn't want him
Mr. Shelly Webb - now a postman in Reading
Blomqvist - blow on him and he'd fall over
Alan Brazil - threw up before every game, say no more
Poborsky - Signed him 5yrs too early

Why your choice, and in this order?

Personally I don't like slagging off United players unless they slag the club off after they've gone, and think it's a bit unfair to put Danny up on top...he suffered from injuries, probably also from longer term debility, and still did a good job for us in 50 odd games. Goram did a job/favour when we were desperate. Forlan has done OK and, whilst still with us and trying hard, deserves our encouragement. There have been a lot worse. Gibson...Terry or Colin?

I'll give you that Taibi was a bit of a disappointment for the price.

He was shite, overweight, injury prone with a mouthpiece for a wife. I don't care if he's a nice guy, he was a bad signing.

Fat Ralph Milne
Taibi
Ricardo (gave away 2 penalties in his first 2 games)
Jordi Cryuff
Paul Ince (Guvnor my arse)

I'm only 26 so these are the ones I can remember from my time watching United. Mainly 90's As my memory of the late 80's is a little patchy. Could probably come up with a better list if I could be arsed

Ricardo actually gave away 3 pens, all for hauling down strikers, its amazing he never got a red card. Dion Dublin?? Only played a few games for us didnt he?

Jordi scored some crucial goals for us.
Ince was solid for us, he might be a total arse but he was the bridge between Robbo and Keane.

Yeah, no excuse, if I was married to Shelly Web, I would be getting hours of regular exercise every day! There wouldn't be an inch of fat on me!

My choice- Smiff Smiff Smiff Smiff and Smiff.

Agreed with the comments about Webb and Tabai, but not Paul Ince, he did well for us and Forlan.......well, I think its not all his fault. Remember his goals against the Scousers???

Here's five from the dark ages to consider:

Gary Birtles - what a disaster - he really got found out at OT.

Ron Davies - signed five years too late by the Doc!

Mick Martin - one of the Doc's cut price Irish players - finally sold to Newcastle.

Graham Moore - one of Busby's few failures (going back to pre history almost)

And what about Martin Buchan's brother George (one of the The Doc's again).

Any more for anymore?

Talking of brother's I think I'll start a thread.....

YOU TOSSER
Paul Ince as one of united's worst players. What a load of utter shite. As suppose as a gooner living in shit smoke land and being barely out-of-your-nappy, you may not remember ince at united.
For a couple of years he was united's best player. An AGGRESSIVE midfielder who ran the show before Mon. Cantona arrived.
To call him one of United worst players is demonstrating a astounding lack of knowledge, and of history.
Maybe you're confusing Ince the player, with Ince the man. Granted, he is acknowledged by ALL his previous clubs as a complete twat, and at his post United clubs, he was on the way down the ladder of success.
But for a while, he WAS the man at United.
No argument with any of your other nominations, although Taibi and Ricardo hardly stuck around enough to do much damage.
Have you got any more nominees for our amusement ???

Update:

Beardsley (I mean one match subbed ffs, I wonder whatever happened to that ugly waste of space?)

Poborsky (what a crap hairstyle, thank your god that we had young David's fop in the wings)

Brazil (clearly named after the nut rather than the exponents of the beautiful game...who ate all the pies Alan?)

Wilkins (come on, how could anyone think of signing a bloke with a name like 'Butch' to play at O/T...came from Chelsea, need I say anymore?)

Graham (ffs Stroller went back to manage boring-boring-Arsenil)

It's all about opinions isn't it?...

I've looked at the thread and no one's mentioned Tommy Jackson so I'll say him...

I remember watching him play against Everton in a League Cup Quarter Final and I thought that some of the players in my sunday league team were infinitely better than him...

Hell, he made me look good.... .....
