Is the stubby holder to compensate for the fact that you wont get any tickets all season.

I heard a rumour that they were including a big red foam finger to turn the atmosphere at OT electric!

Thats a bit much. You'll get like one, for a shite game. Probably around christmas.

Its worth it for the oppurtunity to pay ridiculous prices on viagogo though.

For the sake of all of us, I have corrected the above post.

FS, please just squint and pretend all is a-ok. I'm sure redman5 needs winding up in the Football Forum, and one only has so much time and energy.

As for the packets, I keep forgetting to renew, then remembering after lunch. That's pretty pointless over here because I'm 5 hours behind the UK.

Who the fuck would actually buy a stubby holder. I didn't even know what a stubby was, is it Australian or something?

Remember that thing?

I walked around for weeks antagonising the wife with that.

A coin would set it off just as well as a bottle cap would, so I was going around with a coin and annoying the fuck out of all and sundry.

We have a cadre of regular guests who often come to visit and stay over. Because people with jobs and such normally keep normal hours, they regularly will fall asleep while we're just sitting around watching tv until the wee hours. Up creeps me with the talking bottle opener...

Julissa hid the thing and I never found it again. I'm worried she might have thrown it away.

Glazer is such a sly money grabbing bastard. Cant believe he'd stoop so low as to flog out of date memberships. There is no end to this mans greed

I eventually caught my Chelsea supporting mate with mine - I issued a vague apology about him using a Utd opener when I handed it to him - his face when he applied it to the the bottle was a picture!

Re redman - given his problems with quantification - if I wound him up he'd probably think he was being wound down.

I'm thinking most posters on here are Brits, who sadly waiste vast quantities of beer by drinking it at the wrong temperature. Beer is a drink best served cold, and keeping it that way makes it enjoyable, rather than a means of getting drunk.
