Calling all doctors of the caf
I have a situation, last night I was relaxing at home and all of a sudden I started getting cramps in both legs. It's not agonisingly bad but pretty uncomfortable, I had hardly any sleep last night and im still having cramps today. The fudge is all this about? I recently changed my diet and started exercising more but have not experienced cramping as such until now.
Surely it's not meant to last 24 hours, any tips to get rid of it apart from amputating my legs? It's not leg aids either as I have this already... |

As people said, it may be because you exercised particularly hard yesterday. I can't comment on whether it can be something more serious, but I've had the same from lots of exercise. Stretch the muscles out a lot and chuck on some deep freeze/heat. I hope it gets better soon mate, cramps are bloody painful. |

If the supplement helps try to eat more food high on Mg, Spinach, Tomatoes, Beans, nuts, milk and artichokes are great. There's a lot of magnesium in flours too, but I guess those dont agree with your diet much. |

There is nothing to worry about Sparky. This is natural when standing in queue for 96 hours. Only 2 more days. Then it will be all ok.
But really, cramps are extremely painful. You could try some of these and check. - drink lots of water - food with calcium/magnesium/potassium/vitamin B (bananas as Doc suggested) - take a hot bath before sleeping - when cramps happen massage the area along the direction of the muscles |

Duffy you legend that deep heat has worked a treat, feeling 10 times better already and only put it on a while ago, initially I put too much on and my legs felt like they were melting but now I feel so much better!

FAO Caf Doctors
My jaw really hurts to the point that I can't open it fully, I can't chew without being in pain and I can't yawn properly. Often it "cracks" like when you crack your knuckles when I open it. It's been like this for two weeks. My wisdom teeth are coming through but up until now it hasn't been a problem. Doctor or Dentist? Chances of needing surgery? |
