I'm refusing to count the votes of anyone I've neither heard of or ever seen make a post.

Right, so when's this being resolved?

It starts in three days.

If this is just another act in futility, I may huff off in a storm.

'No' and 'I Don't Understand the Question' surely get their votes pooled as one, don't they?

Therefore it's 44 to 35.

If by that you mean they're both completely retarded, then yes

Well done Noods. Genius move to have the poll in the week before the first Ashes test. Couldn't have picked a better time to guarantee a 'yes'!

This is what I was thinking, because people who really wanted the forum would have said yes.

The third option was to prevent people who couldn't care less either way from distorting the vote.

Besides, there might be a late surge of "no"s yet.

Pretty sure Sultan will vote no, and his vote counts as 20

So Wimbledon?...The Lions Tour?....Really?

See this is why I hate Cricket...It's fans have a massively distorted view of it's importance!

Maybe diluting the caf might be a good idea, less fundamentalist ... can we have a GAA forum too,? ... and one for Scat, as shit and shitting take up a lot of the general.

i've made a thread in it -even though I voted against the idea.

That is because i'm open to these things and won't stand in the way of change.

Thats right people.

Only the FCUoM forum is less pointless than the Cricket Forum, it'll have about 5 threads.

At least FCUoM actually does relate to Manchester United in some way, and they're also a football team. I'm not really bothered about a cricket forum, I just don't understand the logic behind having it. It makes no sense really

As cricket is not in the other sports forum, is this an admission that it's just a hobby?

An entire forum for a friendly match between England and Australia in a sport that hardly anyone cares for?

Bloody hell. What's next, a tiddlywinks forum for the up and coming British tiddlywinks championship?

And the despite the heavy and vocal opposition, the cricket fans have got what they wanted. Hope it's just the first victory.

In fairness I didn't really care much for the pavilion, it was just good to see a lot of people get all uppity about it.
