I'm afraid last night's result and impending loss of the title has depressed even me. I certainly don't have my usual joie de vivre.

Must admit, I've sat in a chair beside my bed for the last 6 hours or so, doing nothing but posting on here and reading about the sodding game yesterday, feeling more and more pissed off and down the more I read about it.

Masochism...

I've strategically avoided reading about or listening/watching anything about the game... in fact, this is the only football related website I've visited since Monday...

No it's not, you've been on the Fantasy Football where I hammered you 5-1.

That is true. Perhaps I should pre-faced that with "real-world" football websites...

I'm very irritable and stressed lately, but not depressed (I was depressed a lot till a few months ago). I've written a very friendly, but honest letter to someone, who interpreted it as a scathing attack. Normally I'm good at judging this kinds of things, but I do snap a lot easier than usually.

I had years of experience with depression, but this isnt it - but I dont know what this is.

I'm off work with stress at the moment after 6 years working in a call centre 11 hour shifts, on top of that I also have to go to the doctors on Tuesday to get my prostate examined because I've been having problems with it which I'm bricking it about, I'm getting symptoms at 23 that I shouldn't have until I'm 55, I'm due back to work on Thursday after 3 weeks off, on top of that I've just broken up with my girlfriend of 3 years who lives with me this morning and on top of that now I have the football on and may watch the blues lift the title.

I'm trying to find some positive somewhere, but it's a bit of a stretch at the moment. It's my birthday in 4 weeks, come on United.

Whole mood spolied, will take some days to get over the loss. Things would have been so much different personally if only QPR didn't fuck up.

I love all my fellow United supporters today and all my fellow caf members. We share the same pain today and that unites us more than anything right now.

Fuck it. It's over. It's done. Bring one the next task.

Part of me is glad that its finally done, the hope QPR gave us was incredible cruel, staying well away from sports sites or news papers for the next week

I'm not feeling depressed at all, I did go ape shit mental when Aguero scored but meh. Was so resigned before kick off and as gay as it was that they toyed with us like that, ultimately it was expected. Remember that. Now get over it you big sissy's.

Agree with you Leroy. I always felt that City could put two past QPR at any moment.

Yes, pathetic this. The only pro-City statuses on my page are all from Chelsea fans. Why do they try and convince themselves of this faux-rivalry they have with us? They have almost no history with us beyond the past 8 years or so.

The worst of the lot for me is the 'Chelsea fan' who didn't make a peep when they dramatically knocked Barca out with 10 men, yet now is declaring that he's 'off to buy an aguero shirt'.

Yep, literally so chuffed with themselves. Despite the fact they've had an absolute shocker in the league this season.

I really don't get the whole being bothered more about your rivals success/failure than your own thing. I mean, I might have a little chuckle when Liverpool inevitably clatter to another defeat against a mediocre side, but I'd never be whooping around with joy about such a thing. What happens to your own team is always the most important thing, surely?

Yep, none of them are actually friends, more people I used to know. One of them tried to wind me up on facebook last week, but it's more bizarre than antagonising when it's someone you haven't spoken to in about 4 years.

I think Facebook, like Twitter (and the internet in general I guess) brings out the stupid arsehole in a lot of people.

Not me though, i'm the opposite. I'm nice online but a total fucktard IRL.

My mate texted me the following

"I love it when United thought they won and then bang City! Fucking brilliant! 1 of the best days of my life"

My response

"Who do you support??? Not turning plastic are we? Man City have won more Premier League's than Liverpool!!! Face it Liverpool are yesterdays news with everything about the club out of date! The fact you enjoy United's failure more than your own clubs success (or lack of) shows how desperate the average Liverpool fan is!"

I feel better now

Yep, it's just one bloke on mine and I have blocked him now as its getting ridiculous, I also have a city fan on mine but blocked him several months ago after having to listen to conspiracy theories and the like so I don't have to worry about him.

Yeah it does. Those I know that are properly into football just have generic 'unbelievable scenes' types statuses, or things about their own team's fate. It's only the ones that are slightly dumb in real life anyway that have these plastic statuses about buying City shirts etc.

I doubt the die hard City fans would even want that type of fan jumping on board. I always cringe when I hear 'United fans' talking that clearly don't follow the team and just perk up when we sign someone or win a trophy. Generally the types that talk about 'Man U', I find.
