Lent

The most wonderful time of the year is here; Lent begins tomorrow! I'm not religious in the slightest but I do enjoy the challenge of Lent. What better way to spend the next month and a half than to avoid something you enjoy? I've been drinking far too much shite like Coke recently so I'm giving up fizzy drinks (unless they're alcoholic). Who's giving up what?

Please note: The following replies will be greeted with my disgust due to their painful lack of originality and humour:
  • "I'm giving up giving up things for lent".
  • "I'll be giving up cigarettes. Should be easy, I've never smoked in my life! lol"
  • "I'm giving up masturbation...oops I failed already! har har"

Absolutely hated it as a catholic. What a shite 40 days. Chocolate, PS2 etc. Just awful. And it made no sense. "Well Jesus went 40 days without food or water." So? Jesus was crucified for us. If the bible teaches us anything, it's to not do what Jesus did.

/minirant.
