Manu

I have been having a little chat with a girl who is currently in UK, who is from my place.

He has her favourite team listed as 'MANU' on her facebook profile. When I pointed out that True Manchester United fans never say 'MANU', this is what she has to say to me...

"if u were ever in Old Trafford then u must know that every single official who works there uses MANU instead of Manchester United .... please improve your knowledge first and then speak ... infact if u r a MANU's fan, u should visit Old Trafford once .... thanx"

How much of this is true actually?

A ManU(td)'s Fan?

Apart from that, it doesn't bother me.One fan trying to out'fan' the other that you can see on an everyday basis

Now we've had the "Man U" debate over and over. "MANU" or "manu" - no capitalisation, no space - annoys the shit out of me though. How lazy can you get?

Jesus, this old chestnut!!! How many times has this been debated on the Caf in the last few years.

Man U annoys me but purely and simply because rival fans seem to think that it is an insult to call us by this name. Other than that, I don't think think it should be used as it is lazy and United sounds better. There is no need to say the Man bit as most people will know that you mean 'Man U' when you say United purely on the context of the conversation you are having.

In reality though, you should shit in her handbag!!!
