I was checking it earlier, got up to about page 15 but there were a couple of posts I couldn't see. Still a bit to go there, Solius...provided you stop abusing the report a post function.

At the same time, is there anything absolutely critical that you would have to have that old thread and couldn't just start a new one? I don't mean to sound so harsh about it, but that's the stance we might want to take with some of these old threads. Even if we do try to save all of them, it would be in some prioritized order and you might be better off making a Happy Hideaway 2.0 thread anyways instead of waiting.

If it was possible to see it, possibly only for small periods of time, it would've been easier to find funny threads and asking for them to get moved. You (the mods, not only Brophs) seem to do a good job so far. |

IF they are hard deleted then I'd assume it won't be for a while yet. |

I really don't know much about vbulletin but I would be surprised if you can simply export every thread title to a file, especially given how many there are (tens if not hundreds of thousands, I'd guess). Then there's the issue of server speeds etc. as that sort of request would likely crash the site given the problems we sometimes had with even matchday traffic, whereas this would be mining the entire General for thread titles.
In short I'd be amazed if that can be done. Plus it would encourage people to see thread titles they liked the look of and ask for, which we'd then have to vet. |

Any thread CRAYFORDBOY has posted in..honestly. The thing I love about the general was the hellish arguments that went on between all the supporters 7-8 years ago. I found a few gems which never fail to amuse me but they've all gone now..

I love me some grammar, as Beyonce would say, if she was into grammar. Also, it will piss off Wonderpigeon... |

Can a mod move the "Caught someone trying to break into my house thread" - I tried to access it but it said I don't have access - can only assume this is due to the Bunker and subsequent General v.2.
Probably relevant to the new thread in the Current Event Forum on the guy who's been arrested for stabbing an intruder. |
