Swoop deals (moved)

Can someone tell us the last time one of these 'swop deals' the press are so fond of actually occurred and whether there has ever been a high profile one?

The Carroll/Tevez, Carrol/Ba suggestions were frankly absurd!

Has there ever been a swop deal?

I hate it when people spell it as "swop". I know either is acceptable but... urgh.

They are both in the dictionary but I hate the use of 'swop' rather than 'swap':

Swop | Define Swop at Dictionary.com
Dictionary of English - swop

I'm starting to think that "swap" was never a word. Maybe it was always just "wasp", and we are all losing our minds.

I'm going to swop swap for swop in my vocabulary.

Colin is clearly awesome. Actually, I'll swap Hectic for Colin. Or swop. Oh, fuck.
