text enhance ads
Out of nowhere I have ads all over the place while i'm on the interwebs. Some words are blue and underlined and if you scroll the mouse over it it shows an ad by something called text enhance.
I googled and saw some possible solutions bt none worked. Has this happened to anyone before? How do I remove this from my pc? Anoying as fuck

If you're using Windows you should be able to edit your 'host' file to block any offending websites. Not sure whether or not you can do something similar on a Mac, but anyway, here's the guide for Windows:
http://helpdeskgeek.com/how-to/block...ng-hosts-file/ Basically you can add any website (or advertising http) to the bottom of your host file using a text editor and from then on your PC will not be able to access the content; this will allow you to block specific ads individually whilst allowing all others through as normal. |

Cheers Cider, but my mate just woke up and told me the most obvious solution, go to their site and disable it (he knew it because it happened to him a while ago):
http://optout.textsrv.com/optout.php You just opt out and they're gone. |
