What's a trolley line?

I used to think of pushing a trolley around as kind of like a giant, free game of bumper cars, and used to think I looked cool when I turned corners at speed, or did 360% spins in the middle of the frozen foods isle.

I grew out of that though, at least a couple of weeks ago now
