Train from London to Manchester

How often do these depart - and how long is the journey?

And also, how much do a ticket cost?

If only you had access to a world wide web of information that could give you this information.

Slightly better site than Redcafe would be national rail website.

National Rail Enquiries - Official source for UK train times and timetables

I'm a lazy arse, and I'll ignore that site and wait for a real answer in a silent protest.

You'd be far better off using the site he provided and buying a cheap advance sales ticket.

But it's literally quicker and easier to go to the relevant site than randomly ask a bunch of mongs on a football forum, surely?

There was someone in another thread asking if we knew if any snow was forecast... bonkers!

You underestimate yourselves.

You are truly wonderful.

Also, it's not for me, it's for a mate of mine who's going over to see the Liverpool-match on sat.

Make this more interesting. Take a random sum of money to a station picked at random and get on the first train you see

This could be a decent reality show. I might do this the next time I'm in England.

Knowing myself, and my cluelessness when it comes to public transportation, I'd still probably manage to arrive at my excact planned destination in time. It's just the way it always happens.

So that's it, lads? Not one of you useless gimps can manufacture the effort of staying up late at night to check something for me which I could easily do myself?

So be it, guess my mate won't get to the United-Liverpool-match come Saturday though, the useless bastard.

He can probably go see Cats though.

Oh, I see.

I guess it couldn't be made much easier than providing a direct link to the page where you order tickets for those particular dates.

Thank you, my mate sends you his regards. Your prize is you'll get to see Cats in London instead of him.

For sure. I paid 125 of your English pounds for a ticket the day of at Euston Station. Shite train as well, thank goodness it was virtually empty.
