Any argument we have I pretty much tell no one as I don't want anyone I know to have a bad opinion of her, despite how unreasonable she is being.

It must be quite unpleasant not knowing what her family knows of your relationship. Certain things stay between you two and are not their concern.

It's a matter of trust really. You should be her go-to-guy, the one who listens to her complains about other facets of her life, and you should be the one she tells all the relationship-stuff to.

I don't care my girlfriend talking to her friends about us (arguments or whatever), but I'd definitely be pissed off if she was having the same kind of conversations with her parents.

It happened once, a few years ago, we had a huge argument when we almost broke up and my girlfriend moved out for a couple of days and stayed back at her parents. In that case, I can understand that she'd talk to her mom as she was put right in the middle of it, but even then, the next time I had dinner with them, I had to put up with a small lecture, which was very annoying. Would hate to be in that kind of situation on a regular basis.
