Not really. If you wanted to see the reserve and youth players get a run against lower league opposition then all power to you. Personally I would rather save my hard earned money for a match of greater importance, as would most normal fans. I see the united locals filled the Theatre of Dreams to capacity last night for their all premiership clash............

As for United, there were significantly fewer than 53,000 in the stadium last night, whatever the official attendance was. |

Indeed. The East stand alone was almost bare, and Boro brought over approximately 27 fans. (And still made more noise than the South...)

Any excuse to have a go at the scousers, but i would be curious to know what the price of tickets were for last nights match, cos i can bet any money they were not charging £40 for a ticket behind the goals, as our non members were having to pay, i think 53,000 tickets sold knowing it is going to be a completely changed side ( although not as bad as some seasons ) was a fantastic attendance. I am sure i heard from some source that Anfield tickets were greatly reduced for last night.

Were the rest of them out robbing Robbie Keane again?
Or all at home on ebay trying to buy him a goal? |
