My point is it would be unfair if we established that as the criterion with all said and done.

The options people are looking for still give both a chance, the one I'm suggesting for future already has a winner, not fair to apply it now.

FWIW, I think you should both be eliminated for the complete inability to find ONE poster who could come in here and vote for you in that hour window yesterday. Very poor showing.

You have a very valid point and had you dug your heels yesterday you would have been entitled to. As it stands, you were a good sport and this has turned into a complete mess.

Given around a third of ties in the quarters or later of international tournaments end in a shootout, and with the teams locked together, I think there's mileage in the penalty idea. Tricky to judge but it's realistic.

As I've got nothing on today...well until tonight....I can legit do that penalty thing for shits and giggles....on FM12 though with a CM0102 database, so pick your takers based on them being 10 years younger(advantage for some obviously, not so much for others I guess.)

I'll even stream it once I get it to penalties.

Its the same for both managers - neither of you knew so I dont see that as an issue

Anyway it was something that Snow mentioned and I agree with it - it is not just for your match either, we all need to agree and set these things now for the other match ups

Shouldn't be too hard. But all 10 players in same team. Control the reserves. Put one set of players in the reserve squad. Arrange a friendly that's 90min + pen. Both teams super defensive. No commentary.
