All downhill since he left SJP....
Violence, anger, gambling...
Sunderland manager Roy Keane has given his full support to striker Michael Chopra, following reports he has gone into rehab. Chopra, 24, is said to have checked himself into a private clinic to overcome what his manager described as "personal issues". The former Newcastle player is believed to be receiving treatment at the Sporting Chance Clinic in Hampshire. The Sporting Chance Clinic was set up by former Arsenal and England defender Tony Adams, who struggled with alcoholism for much of his career. The facility has been used by several top players, including former Arsenal forward Paul Merson and Newcastle United's Joey Barton. Keane said: "We are helping Michael as he deals with some personal issues and he has the full support of everyone at the club. "We would ask that his privacy, and that of his family, is respected at this time and the club will not be commenting further on this matter." A former England under-21 international, Chopra started out at Newcastle before moving to Cardiff City. Chopra has a six-month-old son with his wife, reality television celebrity Heather Swan, 24, who appeared in the ITV2 show Wag's Boutique. It has been reported that the couple split last month after being married for only a month. |

She must be gutted - desperate fame-groupie located and married her supposed meal-ticket only for him to fall to bits - not surprised she's not sticking around to help him through it (allegedly).
