Never should have fired Mourinho. Were he there, I'd expect him to turn the young players into assets. As is, they don't seem to be developing very well.

A couple of Bosman signings like Montolivio and Hoilet might not be bad for them if they are rebuilding.

If Chelsea don't make the top 4, then this rebuilding goes from difficult to impossible.

To be fair a lot of the times it gets brought up by Chelsea fans wishing he was back and Mourinho constantly talking about coming back to the UK.

A YouGov poll suggests that Chelsea have a ten-point lead over City.

It just highlights how important these next few months and on the whole next season will be for them. If Roman and AVB don't get this right, by which I mean contesting for the title in the coming year then it's potentially worrying for billionaire owners in the game. Would they rethink purchasing a club if there isn't any long term rewards? Who's to say this could be Manchester City in a few years time? They seem to be planning for the future but they could be chopping and changing managers which unstabilises the club.

I have some sympathy for AVB, lets not forget he will be saying more goodbyes to the 'best' Chelsea team in recent history then any other predecessor ever had to. His problem is getting rid of content players with nothing to prove at Chelsea and blooding in his own philosophy with the addition of youth.

There's no way Terry will be shipped out.

Everybody else on that list is a distinct possibility.

Terry is the one who absolutely has to go to break the dressing room cabal.

Aye, I suspect they'd have to trade him in for a lesser player (or at least as close as makes no difference) but the hold he has on that dressing room is an issue for them. I don't see it happening though. I think he'll get another couple of years out of it, though you'd wonder if he's the sort of player whose influence is too strong to spend a lot of time on the bench as he's phased out.

He's a strong personality, now older than most players, and with Abramovic's ear. Get rid and let the manager get on with reshaping the team.

Another game and three more points dropped....to Everton no less. This might be the pivotal game to push Roman over the edge.

Surely it can't be long before Roman pulls the Trigger? I know AVB is rebuilding the squad from the ground up as many of the players are over the hill but it's till the same team that won the fecking double 2 years ago!

Sacking Carlo was a massive fucking mistake.

Roman at Cobham this week observing training.

Doesn't look good for young Villas Boas.

Well according to their accounts, the recent managerial changes cost a cool 38 million.

It'll cost them atleast 10m more if AvB is sacked. Even more if the backroom staff leave as well.

So, where will AVB end up next?

I'm thinking Malaga or Anzhi.

Disgustingly run club. Roman is getting his comeuppance chopping and changing.
