Anyone else watching Stoke vs Everton? Wow, Andy Gray is on a whole new level this weekend.

Thats a foul -

2 seconds later -

Yes they can feel very hardly done by there, hard to see how that was a foul.

Ever thought he might just like watching football and seeing as many good players on the field at once? He cheers players on from every team. If anything we're probably the ones with the bias outlook when he doesnt froth over our players constantly and call the other team a pack of nancies. Why should he.

He's also a bit old and senile.

Andy Gray is a toffee so there is absolutely no chance he is biased towards Liverpool as he hates us. Every fan thinks the commentators are against them, especially when you're are losing and crying for every decision to go your own way in the hope of getting back into the game.

I do, however, agree thathe is a massive, massive tosser and probably couldn't have put it better myself.

Did anyone else notice how he kept calling the Chelsea players by their first names yesterday?!

What a fucking bias bastard.

You do know that, no matter what his personal bias, his commentary had no effect whatsoeever upon the result of the match, or indeed any match?

Every football fan - especially the knowledgeable ones - are conversely biased; imagine one of us trying to commentate on Liverpool in the Champions League final! Regardless of whether or not he called the Chelsea players by their first names, we played a system alien to us - try to defend for more than an hour - and that's why we're so annoyed - not because we heard "Didier", "Florent" or "Joe" too often.

It is possible to have an opinion without it being a bias, disguised show of disappointment at the result of the game you know?

I noticed it during the game. I found it strange. I'm just pointing it out.

For fuck's sake people, every fan of the Big Four thinks that he's biased against them. Last week we were saying he was biased towards Liverpool, this week he was biased towards Chelsea. Liverpool fans have tried to boycott him because he's biased against them, Arsenal fans hate him (though love Martin Tyler), because of the bias he shows against them.

Get over it. The man's a complete tosspot, but he's not ABU. Nor is he ABC, ABA or ABL. He's just a tit.

I used the word bias in this context because he's played for Rangers (look up Chelsea-Rangers connections if you don't know why this could be relevant) and I think he may have been at Chelsea for a short time.

That's why i found bias to be a suitable word in this case.

He nearly cried when Rooney took the ball of Drogba's head, and it went just past the post.

What? What the fuck are you talking about?

All I heard him do was say just how important Rooney's touch was, that it was absolutely necessary or Drogba would have scored. If anything he was sucking Rooney's dick, not crying because Chelsea didn't score.

Some of you people are fucking pathetic.

Andy Grays class

Him and Tyler are the best partnership, since Big Ron and Clive don't commentate together anymore

I used to think that they were brilliant (Gary and Tyler), but they've gone downhill the last couple of years IMO.

Listen to some of the other main stream commentators and then listen to Gray and Tyler

They're still a class above...know what they're talking about, even if they are biased towards the top 4. They tend to back the favorites I think, nothing against United...

I like Andy Gray's commentary.

I don't buy into it that he's an ABU either, plenty of times i've heard him purring over our football and i know a couple fans of rival clubs that say he's bias TOWARDS Man Utd.

The man went mental!

Yep, nice thread, I hate him & have done for a long time, but someone else would come in & be equally as hated tbf.

He called Park "a little Korean" on Sunday, banning material for the racist Scotch Twat.

It's Pundits like Gray and "Thommo" that make every end to a season so much sweeter

Let them be biased
