Another Arsenal Thread.....

Just had a thought, can anyone see Toure moving up to replace Flamini for next season? Wenger has stated that he wants a centre back who is strongin the air, which more than likely means bye bye to Senderos and no more starts for one of Gallas and Toure.
Maybe they will be going with Gallas + a big man at the back and Toure in front of them? He used to be a midfielder after all, and is pretty decent going forward, his biggest weakness ha always been his height for me, as a defender. What do you reckon?

They might give him a similar role his brother plays for Barca,

I reckon someone like Samba will be good for Arsenal at the back.

Send a message via AIM to Cal?
More likely they'd buy his brother from Barca.

it will most likely be some teenager no one has ever heard of that will replace Flamini well enough that Flamini will be forgotten.

They have been linked to Rangers centre-back Carlos Cuellar, so Toure to replace Flamini could be an option.

Song doesn't look that bad, Wenger would be right to give him a chance so he can assess him in situations that are not meaningless - unlike the run in of final games this season.

I think Diaby looks like he could make a decent CM.

Yeah reminds me of Viera a bit, but stronger. Mind you I thought Diarra was class & Wenger let him go to Pompey - bet he's regretting that now!
