The example of a massive derby between bitter rivals where they are both cunts to degrade a team is a bit off. I didnt see much bull shit from Barca in either match against United, or even when United beat them over two legs, they didn't moan about that.
They have there bad eggs but even a good player who doesnt dive or cheat can be dragged into it in a match as emotionally charged as against your bitter rivals. |

Those players are part of the fabric of this club. Trophies aren't everything. Its not about just assembling the best players in the world, it's about bringing them up with the history of the club and the way we try to play football, the United spirit. It's about achieving success based on the fruits of our own labour.

What a pointless discussion based on a ridiculous hypothetical situation. Anyway 90% of our squad would move to Barca if they were given the chance, so I don't think they should expect our undying loyalty. People need to bear in mind that these players are also payed ridiculous amount of money for the loyalty. We can also easily buy players that can become part of the fabric of the club.
Just look at Cantona, Keane and Evra. |

Having a life doesn't really mean "quality of life". Having a life means having a REAL life, in which somebody has friends, family, work, real people to talk with, real people to beat, real people to love...etc.

I know this is off topic, and probably silly, but I don't care because I hate seeing this thread title.
"Facing Barcelona is the ultimate test because they are the best team in the world. Afterwards you need a week to recover because your concentration has been allconsuming, and therefore it's utterly exhausting. Barca play the sort of football I aspire to, the sort that anybody who plays the game, and really knows the game, would like to emulate." -- Paul Scholes |
