Bolton

Tied with Spurs for 5th, three points off City for fourth spot.

What do you all think of them?

Elmander seems to be banging them in.

Same old Bolton, or should they be taken semi-seriously?

Coyle has done a great job to get them playing good football. They'll be top 10, definitely. Not enough quality to finish in the top 6 but they're going in the right direction.

Massively depends on January. They might well sell Cahill and Elmander then, which would put them back a bit.

Coyle is a fantastic manager who will go places, I'm sure of it. They play some good stuff while maintaining the sturdy physical approach with the likes of Davies and Elmander.

They're in good form and have some decent players (Cahill, Jussi, Holden + Lee) but I'd be surprised if they managed to knick a Europa league spot.

Davies is huge for them and they'd really miss him if he was to pick up any injuries.

They definitaly are not the "same old Bolton" because they're actually quite dangerous now but at the same time I think they're in a fals position at the minute.

Ho ho ho.

It's a strange one though. Lee signed a new deal today, so maybe they're bumping his price up to sell him. How bad are they financially? So many questions, so few answers.

Pretty bad. They are 90 million in debt which is shocking considering they haven't shelled out much on players. Where did they rack up so much debt?

Elmander will have 6 months left on his contract in Jan and word is that Bolton can't afford to give him a new deal or afford to lose him on free in the summer so they'll be in big trouble if he leaves. He'll be in demand considering his form.

They still owe a fortune on the stadium iirc.

Plus they've spent a bit of cash in the last few years.

The Burnley fans were right...Owen Coyle is God, he'd have to have some sort of devine powers for sure to turn diarhoea into fine wine and get that load of cobbled together shite playing decent football.

Elander, Lee and Davies...you put them together, and they can play some sexy football at times.

They were absolutely crap against us. Plus I don't think they've changed quite as much as people expected, aside from getting a shit load better of course.

But, I like Coyle and I hope he does well with the inbred mongs.

Any team previously managed by Megson would look good.

I saw them in pre-season against Toronto FC, they looked good. They have a youngish American playing in midfield whose name I can't at the moment but looked like a tidy little player.

My word... how shit are Bolton?

So limp and looked like they didn't wanna know today. Didn't compete for the ball or anything.

One of the worst performances I've seen this season, if not the worst.

So Relegation battle between QPR & Bolton.

A couple of seasons ago, i wanted Bolton to get relegated, but i feel sorry for them this season.
Lee, Holden out for whole season & other injuries. Elmander left for free. Muamba scenario.
Been a tough season for them & Good luck to both QPR & Bolton.

For obvious reasons , I will be shouting for QPR to win , not that I like QPR any more than Bolton , I just want City to lose that last match of the season

It's still very possible they'll stay up, they will be well up for it against Stoke knowing that a victory guarantees safety and Stoke haven't been particularly good lately.

Bolton to go 2-0 up quite quick. Score filters through to QPR who play a blinder but can only manage a draw vs City, whilst we win at Sunderland.

Yep. Bolton to be comfortably leading by half time so QPR know only a draw will give them a chance of surviving.

Not that it'll make any difference...
