Steve Mcmanaman was a hit. He even scored in the CL final!

I also once saw the Real Madrid lineup for the 1980 european cup final. There was a player called Cunningham. I presume he was British too?

cunnigham played for us for a few games on loan from madrid.

Luther Blisset, only lasted a seaon in Italy with Milan, 5 goals in 30 games and sold back at a loss

woops never actually played for chelsea

Waddle is idolised by the Marseille fans. I saw a documentary about Marseille and it seems they were crazy for his skills. He is definately a contender for an all time Marseille 11.

More British players need to play abroad. It will only help the talent in this country. Owen Hargreaves is an example of how tactically astute the germans make their players.
