The Caf Nostradamus Champions League Knockout Prediction Cup
Ok folks, I ambitiously recruit 32 Cafites to take part in a little prediction competition
Cafites will be randomly drawn against each other. They will be randomly assigned a football game from the Champions League. The aim of the game is to predict the player who will give the greatest 'contribution' to the game, under the following scoring system (assist scores more than a goal to bring midfielders into the game): Goal +3 Assist +5 Shots on target +1 Foul Suffered +1 Foul Committed -1 Offside -2 Yellow Card -3 Red Card -5 If both competitors select the same player, said player is discarded and we move onto second choices, repeating until both players make a unique selection. Fixtures, selections and choices all displayed in this thread. The tournament progresses by knockout. I am the final judge of scoring. The prize for the winner is eternal Caf worship from fellow posters, and a romantic meal and sexual liason with Jason. You'll have to do the cooking though, and be warned, he likes his veggies. And non veggies if you get my drift Inter vs Liverpool Demaples vs AllHailManUtd Erics_collar [Figo] vs [Gerrard] Rednome Madrid vs Roma Camerony [Raul] vs Crappycraperson [Robinho] zing [Robben] vs Wittman [Robinho] United vs Lyon Count Duckula [Carrick] vs [Ronaldo] Ekeke London_Red [Ronaldo] vs MDFC Manager [Rooney] Barcelona vs Celtic RedPhil1957 [Messi] vs [Eto'o] marcosdeto green demon [Eto'o] vs [Messi] Solius Seville vs Fenerbahce MufcAgs23 [Fabiano] vs Scholesy_LEGEND [Kanoute] Frosty [Fabiano] vs [Kanoute] Sidsutton Porto vs Schalke December_16 [Quaresma] vs [Lopez] 2Psmith relx [González] vs [Quaresma] M160RA Chelsea vs Olympiacos Tabasco Sauce [Drogba] vs [Ballack] Gasolin Rooney24 [Drogba] vs GazM [Anelka] Milan vs Arsenal Brad Cantona [Pato] vs [Pirlo] ecantona7 Gazza [Hleb] vs [Pato] Francobaresi |

I'll bring my knowledge of, er... English football, to the competition, please.

Ok cracking interest in this little game, I've extended participation to 32 players, so we need 12 more by my reckoning. Keep signing up... |

Brad you're a madman. This experiment will prove nothing except that you do far too little work.
