Fifa has fined the Croatian Football Federation £15,000 for racist behaviour by their fans during the World Cup qualifier with England on 10 September.

£15,000 that's a fckin joke, loose change to some Premiership players.

The Croatian FA shouldn't be charged.

It is there fans not themselves who were racist a little unfair to fine them.

Croatians are racists and huge nationalists. They love their country to an extreme point. Not the first time they hand out abuses and will not be the last time. Should have been fined ten times the amount. A joke really.

Premiership players wont be paying it though!!!
£15k may be a lot to the Croatian FA. Slaven Bilic is only on £50,000 a year.

Its upto the Croatian FA to stamp it out within their grounds.

They can control them thats the point you fail to realise. If they made it their business to promote the need for racial tolerance at every football ground both domestic and international over the course of two years they could create more responsible fans.

Its the same for spain instead of taking England's approach during the 80's and taking the fight to the fans, the only time these two countries FA's act is if an Uefa official at a game tells them to do so and even then its a silly little tannoy message urging fans to respect the players.

These fines need to be more costly to force these FA's to act urgently.

They need to come down harder on the teams rather than the FA. Granted it may seem harsh, but they need to make a statement beforehand where the countrys national team will suffer because of the fans, whether it be bans or points deducted. And of course any fan caught on camera is banned for life.

I was pointing out that Premiership footballers probably carry this amount around in loose change, and that the fine should have been much, much higher.

Complete joke, 15grand is a modern footballer's lunch money.

I dont think financial punishments do the job unless they're alot more harsh, I would prefer if it they impose playing games behind closed doors or even point deductions in qualifying stages or even the finals themselves - then they might start to take such sanctions seriously. As for now you just now its going to happen again.

Outragous verdict from an organisation which is supposed to be taking racism seriously.

No point in a fine. The fans should be ejected from the ground and banned for life. If the Croatian FA can't do that FIFA should make them play their next game behind closed doors.
