Cya Saha

With Louis' departure soon to be confirmed if he pases the dreaded medical. I thought I'd start a little thread where we can remember his time at United.

Kidding, heres some YouTube clips

Surprised he gets back up at 1:12
The finish at 2:39

You forget how good a finisher he is, when fully fit he is a superb striker. Good luck to him and if he can stay fit for Everton they've got a great player on their hands.

Leg-end.

I remember his first game for us, against Southampton. He scored from a free-kick i think.
And that goal he scored against Fulham in the same season.

The one at 2.39 i've been looking for all day. My favourite of his goals, and highlights the talent he does possess.

A horribly deflected free-kick, to be honest. Think it was going wide to begin with but this was before the dubious goal committee.

No, you don't. I don't think anyone is in doubt that Louis when fit is a truly, truly world class striker. If he was fit, and with our current squad it would have to be him partnering one of tevez/rooney.

Very sad to see him go to be honest given the potential that was there, but in the end his injury record's just not going to cut it for a team like united who are fighting on all fronts and need a proper squad player.

Could by all means shine for everton - for them his appearances could mean the difference between 5th and 8th spot or so - a club like everton can afford his absences better as they'll make up for when he is fit and firing.

Good luck, louis. Always been a class player.

Well I knew he was a great finisher but I forgot how great due to rarely seeing him play these days, always remember that strike against Chelsea though, class goal.

Was big fan of Saha

Have to confess though I was always disappointted that his hair became far more sensible once he moved to United.

Always seemed to do better when he had hair, when he shaved it off he got injured. Seeing his team photo this season, he's got the hair back. Might be a good sign for Everton.

He should dye it blonde too. Black guys with blonde hair aren't known for injury proneness. Plus you have to admit it looks pretty badass

His goal in the 06/07 season against Wigan away was top class. The way he trapped the ball with the tip of his boot, and knocked it in the back of the net was a joy to watch. Shame we didn't see more of those over the years.

Hugely deflected one it was. If he could stay fit, it would've been a way better time for him at United..

He was a perfect partner for Rooney. You forget how good a partnership they were especially the beginning of two seasons ago.

Many great goals from Saha really. I don't remember him being very injury prone at Fulham when he played in D1. Perhaps the most lepard-like player there's ever been.

Quite some cross from Richardsson at 3:45

Yeah, and a lot of those sitters were during his so-called 'in form' period as well when he was scoring regularly.
