I was thinking of fabregas' composure in midfield along with his ability to pick out a pass (although I'd compare him more to Iniesta), but his touch was more akin to berbatov's flicks. but he was so silky in his dribbling ability. Very Messi like.

he was an excellent player...i tell you what the former Yugoslavia and the countries that used to make it up have under performed over the years with all the talent they have had...agree?

Didnt he play for Marseille against Red Star in the european cup final and wouldnt take a penalty or something?

Granted, take the team this is against with a pinch of salt, but there are some lovely passes on show here.

To be fair just watch the video to see the Japanese guys volley at the 1 minute mark. Great technique. Stojkovic's free kick wasn't bad either

Overated. Always underperformed when it mattered. Small league player, small game player.

“I would love Stojkovic to be my successor, there are a hundred reasons for that.
”Our ideas are the same and we both strive for perfect football. I knew he was going to have teams playing attacking football with many passes… He has done that, showing he will be a great coach. I told him that if he could transmit his football imagination to his players he would fly high.”
“Dragan comes to London at least once a year. We meet up, chat and try to outsmart each other. It’s a great achievement for him to have won a championship. I was a coach in Japan for two years and didn’t manage it even though I had Piksi [Stojkovic], who was the best player in the league, in my team.”
"At 65 I will certainly move to some different job, unless I still feel like I feel today.”

Legend.

Reading some of the youtube comments, it says only Stojkovic and Dunga completed this game.

This Japanese TV's game series result■

◎succeeded Dunga/ Pixy

× failed Zico/Maradona/Roberto Baggio/Bebeto/Beckham/ Ronaldo/Gary Lineker・・・・
I'm wondering when the fuck any of those players in the failed category did this though..
