1. She's a "soccer analyst"
2. She analyses woman footie 3. In a country where football is less thought off. 4. She didn't really say something insightful 5. Her cheeks are really thight 6. Her name is food-y 7. There is some guy behind her 8. She tips her head down when she speaks 9. In fact, she looks kind of anorexic. 10. I like hearing a manly voice when football is analysed. |

NCAA soccer refs are the most spineless idiots in the refereeing world. You can get away with so much shit without so much as a booking.
Also Foudy isn't the greatest analyst, but being the captain of a World Cup and Olympic Gold winning side means she certainly has to know something. She's decent when covering the men's game and she's a bit better at covering the women's game. A bit useless though to bring her in for 20 seconds of not-so-insightful analysis. "That's crossing the line." I don't know if I could've figured that out on my own. |

Being American, I'm generally pro-American in all things football.
But I have to agree with Mexos that Julie Foudy is crap. Not because she's a woman, but she just doesn't have anything insightful to say. She doesn't understand that it takes more than hard work and athleticism to win a football match. At least she's not alone. The only insightful commentators we have in this country come from somewhere else. John Harkes, Eric Wynalda, Alexi Lalas, and Max Bretos are all semi-retarded in their own weird and idiosyncratic way. |

I'd find it flattering if someone hard rubbed against me.

That #15 is a bit spunky, quite surprised to see that in the woman's game. Perhaps because if she tried that shit in the mens game there'd be players rolling around on the floor screaming and she'd be sent off in the first minute. Good show

Because I'm a violently sexist person that feels that a womans place is in the kitchen or possibly in the laundry room. They can't play football nor do I think their brain is big enough to grasp a concept as hard as modern football is. I hope she takes a good look in the mirror, removes her fake accessories and ask herself if she really is capable of what she thinks she's doing.
Is that the answer you wanted? My only problem with Foudy was that she was a "soccer analyst". I think it represents the shows football as the lower form of sport in USA as portrayed in every single media representation in modern times. When she's also commenting on a college game, I felt as this was the B-squad of the B-squad in B-land when it comes to football. I don't know what she does, I didn't know what she has done, I don't know how smart she is. For all I know she's the best the world has ever seen. The only thing I've ever seen about her is her cameo on 3-4 seconds in that exact clip. I knew I should have overdone point number ten because of people not getting the stereotypical sarcasm. Too subtle was my fault, maybe I should've mixed it in as point number 7 so it wouldn't stand so alone. Saying that I'm pro women commenting, doing journalism and every in and around football shouldn't be necessary, I don't have to say I'm against rape, it's a given, and this should also be. And don't you ever try to decipher what I actually meant again, you're not me and you don't know what I'm thinking or is in a place to say what I mean about stuff. I really think other people saw that, and if anything one should give the benefit of the doubt before making an "answer" of what I was thinking. And that was not what I did about Julie Foudy, I just said I couldn't take her seriously, I did not say what she meant or what she is. Etcetera. |

We just had our rivalry match with UC Santa Barbara and there was so much shoving and elbowing and tripping and diving (from both sides, but I'm biased enough to think that UCSB did more) that it tainted what was a pretty exciting match. The ref hardly brought out his card and people who fouled persistently didn't get theirs until maybe the fifth or sixth bookable offense. The refs in NCAA don't understand the concept of taking control of a game, and it pisses me off. 9800 fans pack the stadium and all of a sudden the refs balls shrink. |

That's a right bitch isn't it? You can't have professional womens football. It has to be kept on amateur level so they don't spend too much time together and get their menstruations all synchronized. Can you imagine the havoc in like every 3rd game?
