David Beckham was my favourite United player. Produced some stunning moments in his career and deserves his plaudits.

He was my idol when growing up and not because of the lifestyle, I modelled my playing style similar to his while growing up, though nowadays I try emulate scholesys style of play more.
totally agree.. people seem to have short memories and forget how many important goals/assists he took part in

I could name you 20 premiership players who were better then him during his time in the Premiership.

Always apreciated Becks.
in what way do you mean "better"..

Keane wasn't a great footballer in terms of technique. There were loads of players better than him in that aspect. (Let's say I can name 20)

So I proclaim Keane average, he did well for us, no doubt. He did alright for his career, considering the lack of talent.

Keane, always appreciated. A bit shit you were, maybe, but thank you.

Look - I am the one singing his praises and people are turning this into a baz Hates David Beckham

He was an above average player - who played above his station and was excellent in his last 10 games for Madrid yet did fuck all in the previous seasons to make him a gallitico.

Class player at his peak, and has always came across a decent bloke.
However, some of his career choices have really pushed my respect for him in a football sense.

Not only was he awesome for united but england as well. The only reason he is not considered a legend by united fans is because he left under a shadow. If he had stayed another 2-3 years he would have definately reached legendary status
