FAO Our GusHiddink (the League Two footballer) regarding your mid-season injury

How goes the recovery?

Last you told the lay-off was going to be from Christmas right on through until the start of this coming season.

Are you fit for the coming season now? Still with the same club?

Have they brought in someone else moving you down the pecking order, are you fighting for your place, walking back into the team, or moving on?

Inquiring minds want to know.

Beware posters Gus has a brand new BAG!!

Ive just discovered this search nonsense so over the coming weeks ill be rehashing some of the lovely debates we've had over the years. Sadly i cant remember the countless times ive been proved correct...but ill try to bring up at least 5 good ones....

Rossi is technically excellent on the ball, he's got a low centre of gravity, his passing is very sound, he's creative, he's pretty quick, he's a very good header of the ball, he's got vision, he's had experience in Uniteds first team and we didn't see threads after saying he's too small because he's a smart player and adapts in other ways. We'll see but we won't sell him. Sware to god

please remember my words when they come into fruition and rossi is shipped off.

What does some argument you had with Striker10 (who - given our youth track record and Rossi's own track record - must have been auditioning for 'Captain Clueless') have to do with your hamstring?

Or are you Rossi?????!!!!!

PS. If this is an example of your astonishing insights, you'll want to reconsider boasting about having astonishing insights.

Have you done a search using the terms "GusHuddink", "Tevez" and "Terrible signing"?

You may dig up something interesting.

Kinda like if you do a search for "Brookside", "Jordash" and "Patio."

I hope fergie's around to complete the side..i could see carlos thinking it might work but the history of sir alex's sides tells me he'll add to it, with just the type of striker that will see rooney revert to second striker when paired with the guy.

You can repeat the "terrible" chat all you like. Ive confessed it was melodrama but they reflected my initial and instant feelings...we have wayne rooney..you cant be serious why are we signing tevez. had to counter the mass hysteria on these boards at the time.

you should be aware that were saha even semi reliable i'd start him everytime.

im supremely confident.

2 points translates to about 5 at the top end because the top end teams win more regularly.

Key thing for sunderland is that they play their rivals shortly. that and their home form will prove enough,

its newcastle that should be worried.

Believe it or not. Gus claims to be a professional footballer, out with a long term injury. Something like that anyway.

He also holds regular weekend long seminars discussing the nuances of tactical formation, regularly attended by the likes of John Cruyff & Marcello Lippi, who follow him around like street urchins begging for ideas*

*This bit I made up. Probably. He may have claimed this at some point.

denial about what?

This is what Sir Alex said and no ones denied it.

You base your facts on the 'bullshit' you believe we got rid because once we got tevez - our forward line would be too small ADDITIONALLY that with Rooney and Tevez up top, Rossi lacking experience there was no way he could justifiably play enough games....

People also said Tevez is better - which he is but what people failed to mention is the fact Tevez has VASTLY more experience then Rossi.....so a few years down the line -fine- then form an opinion on peoples attributes

There is fuck all logic in most peoples arguments because their careers don't coincide each others

You, at no point said we'd sell him because he will want to be a first team regular most weeks. That was not your argument at all and no one had that information. No one suspected Rossi to be impatient.

To make it simple. Your whole argument was based on speculation and while the outcome was correct, your 'reason' ..was flawed..oh and thusly you got lucky...

Most people that saw Rossi will acknowledge he's a very good young player - but I don't see the attraction of trying to be 'bigger' then fellow United fans? Sorry, seems alittle sad to me ..
